This is terrible for trump and you’re all powerless to stop it.

Here in SoCal yesterday the weather was crappy and the Santa Monica Pier was pretty desolate.

Today the weather improved and when I drove past it to get to my running trail it was much more crowded. Definitely less than a regular Sunday but still busy. So the tourists from middle America are still getting on planes and coming here. That's for sure.

The trail was less than average for a Sunday but not by much. I don't see too many people on it anyway as you have to be in pretty good shape to handle the terrain I tackle.

There is some big announcement tomorrow morning. We will see.
That is what happened in Italy. People who did not have to go to work or to school went drinking and eating and traveling. Today, their death rate jumped 25% in a single day. Americans are acting the same way. My next door neighbor decided to take a trip to San Diego now that are schools are closed. We might have been better off to make people work and go to school and do the social distancing there.

FWIW: I thought it was age 60 and over, not 65. Perhaps they changed the age criteria?

You may be reduced to showering after every bowel movement.

Oh No! I saw this on facebook: If you ever wondered what to do with those mismatched socks in a pile, now is a good time to break them out and use them!

As more people work from home, less people are out and about town and striking up intimate relationships.

Portugal. I guess we are lagging behind a bit, about 250 cases so far, nothing compared with Spain. But still, the measures taken are almost as strong and disruptive (which is good in a way). People are so worried, they are probably not very productive at work, anyway. And what to do with all the kids at home? This is not a condition we can tolerate for 1.5 years.
I think we will see first medicines arriving in June 2020.
