The social distancing is not expected to fully stop the virus, the idea is to slow it down enough to where the spread of the virus does not outpace the capacity of our healthcare system to provide proper emergency treatment for it. If we just let it grow exponentially unchecked, people will be dying on tarps in hallways.

I've really resisted giving any attention to the conspiracy theory that the Trump administration is making test kits hard to come by on purpose as a ruse to keep the reported numbers down. The above is making me rethink that theory.
There's already a few live quips of Trump specifically referring "the numbers" as his concern. Hence feeding the conspiracy.
The chances that Trump hasn't been tested are zero. He's been tested. He just won't admit it because then the fools that believe him might suddenly realize that they should get tested too.
Gee, Medicare is very popular and has been working well for decades. I'd rather have Medicare than overpriced private insurance with sky-high out of pocket and co-pays.
Medicare costs seniors: monthly premium + co-pays + deductibles + limited coverage so one must buy supplemental insurance to cover costs that Medicare doesn't. Why is that extra out-of-pocket expense for seniors even necessary? They paid Medicare tax for 40+ years in exchange for the promise of health care at age 65+. Why do they STILL have to pay more for health care once on Medicare? Fed Gov's total ineptitude at managing/administering such a program.

He's the President. I'd wager both him and Pence are getting tested on a regular basis seeing they are out in the public.
The Europe travel ban is ridiculous. Stop Europeans from coming here, but let infected Americans back. Big brain time! This is the administration grasping at straws trying to claim they did something.
