To just panic and start yelling about throwing money out is insane.

It to me was something that was just thrown in the air.

People like us do not need it. People working from home do not need it.

High income earners do not need it.
People out of work or having hours cut need it.
I wish there was an opt out options for people like you who feel they don't need it.

Glad to see Trump getting on board with Yangs idea. I disagree on the high income earner aspect. Means testing will increase the bureaucracy and the cost of implementation it needs to be a truely universal program not a means tested one.

Those on a fixed income like SS suffer during times like this because prices have risen and choices are so very limited. The saddest thing I saw was a elderly man standing at the refrigerated cooked meat section at the grocery store. He couldn't find his favorite brand of ham. He squinted, cleaned his glasses and then leaned very close to the shelf. He pointed and told me it was always right there. Always! Where was it? I suggested that maybe the store had moved it but he strongly disagreed.

I'm very glad stores now allow senior citizens to shop before anyone else.

My husband works for a major airline and they will likely have their hours/paycheck cut in half. He is the breadwinner and we will be short much more than a 1000 dollars. But we survive because I work in healthcare. Well, at least for now. We were so dead today, they are very careful with who they let in to the ER. Anyways, I would welcome extra money and put it savings.

According to noise from Congress, Relief Checks could be means tested.

Nobody should receive this"free money." It's a horrible idea.

Exactly! Pelosi is starting to **** off a lot of people with wanting to hold up this process to means test it. They can make it for it on the back end with higher income earners. The people need some reprieve ASAP. Anything to hold this up shouldn't be done.

Not only that but conditional on type of income, how much tax paid, added dependents, yada, yada, yada, based on 2018 tax return. Far from Yang's idea of a payment for every adult citizen.
