Nope. Not at all. See also my comments on Pence, who I would much rather be president right now than your con man. Also I have been very pleased with Gov. McMaster's job here in South Carolina. I thought Bush did great at bringing the country together in the aftermath after 9/11. Maybe you see everything through the political spectrum, but not everyone does

I wish everyone would finally agree today is different.

Around March 14 I know my little sister was skiing with her kids. She probably thought she was social distancing despite the fact they likely had to go into a ski lodge to buy lift tickets, rentals, and snack foods.

I still think my nephews and nieces don't give it a second thought to walk into my mothers home despite the fact there are now many thousands of cases in Michigan and they have been traveling and walking around like it was yesterday.

Why is it yesterday for so many of us was in early February?

Obama or Hillary wouldn't have let it get to this point. They would have nipped it in the bud early on.

Now trump is already congratulating himself for a job well done if US deaths are only 100,000!

Thanks for the belly laugh. If Obama were President we’d all be dead or on ventilators. Just look at how he handled H1N1.

The coronavirus task force made trump a coronavirus coloring book to assist his understanding.

How many died from the H1N1? Trump is giving himself credit if the total US coronvirus deaths are only 100,000 to 200,000!

I have to wonder why you question things that one would assume others have actually worked on....somewhere besides on a Forum?

If we use a mid-point of 150K dead - and if even 1/3rd of those are in the NY area, that means likely 500,000+ cases just right there.

I think that could be low - but if 20% of those 500,000 need hospitalized and (100,000) and 50% of the hospitalized need ventilated, that would be 50,000 persons needing them.

Ventilation is needed for as long as 10-20 days so the turnover may not be too quick.

When Cuomo says 20k, 30K, 40K it's all a matter of trying to avoid something which might come.

Look at it this way, If you got into War and your planners say you need 16 million rounds of ammo, would you say "no you don't, here is 5 million" or would you place orders for 20 million....just in case....AND, have the capacity to make many more if the chit hits the fan? I know what i would do.

I mean - why would they need up-armoured Hum-Vees for Iraq since it would last 5 weeks and we'd be greeted as Liberators?

Why does an airliner need so much extra fuel in addition to what it uses to get to the destination?

These are obvious questions and certainly way paste my or your pay scale (unless you have a secret life as a logistics planner and emergency planner).

You seem to parrot almost everything he says and try to make a way to make it "true". Many of those masses are single use. Can you sit down and try and figure out how many different health workers encounter how many patients and how many times? I can't.

Trump cannot. He has absolutely no idea.

Despite your seeming support of the Sane one I feel strongly that if you were in his position and had been privy to the briefings he's had over the lat 90 days, you would do MUCH better than he is because you might just listen to the people who told you things and not just care about your own ratings or saving your skin.

These people are immune to facts and common sense. But nice effort.
