Another 1,100 dead. How is this not a bigger problem?
It's obviously a problem. But some of those 32,000 will need hospitalization adding to an already bad situation. It tells me that death tool will eventually make us ;ong for the days when 1,100 was only the number of dead in a day
Pretty much the way this spread in Wuhan and NY, religious services. Every health expert stated we should have consistent shutdowns across the nation this will just make it worse. Trump has stated he doesn’t understand why some states have not issued stay at home orders, he needs to be more forceful.
Sometimes I think he doesn't realize that he is the one in charge.
Hopefully this video will end the misconceptions about people comparing Covid-19 to other novel viruses including Spanish Flu, H1N1, Chinese Flu and Hong Kong Flu. It is more comparable to SARS and MERS. Stop the misconceptions and lies.

That's ridiculous - firstly, you know we removed our key CDC person from China a few months before.
Secondly, we KNEW about it......of course we didn't know everything, but we have thousands of "assets" in China full time let alone satellites and intelligence of other sorts.
If they "tricked" us the intelligence community wouldn't have raised red flags many months ago.
We KNOW totalitarian governments (our included) trick and lie and deceive...that's why we have intelligence services and actually look at events.
Hundreds of Americans were actually traveling or staying in the region after this broke out.
You can claim a lot of things, but "tricking us" is not one of them. We know. If we know that government underplay such things (15 and zero soon...it's all under control, etc. etc.) then we know how to react.

Each governor will have to make their own choices. There wouldn't be much point doing a mass shutdown in Barring, Alaska for example. The virus apparently hasn't spread there, so what would be the point? And wherever Americans can keep working and going about their lives normally, all the better. It keeps the economy from tanking even worse.
It's kind of mind-boggling. We're not hearing "Trump wants to be a dictator" anymore. It's "Why isn't Trump being a dictator".
If folks have followed these guidelines, then that's the bulk of the issue, isn't it?
Going off the rails on the crazy train is not helping eaither. America does not need a dictator, but a leader would help a lot. So far, there isn't one.

But, to quote him personally, health care is hard. The man has never done anything in his life - so unless he can simply bark out a suggestion and have someone else do it...it's not going to get done.
One of the big reasons he went completely broke in Atlantic City (I lived nearby when it happened) was that a Helicopter carrying his "best people" crashed.....after that there was no there there.
