Fact-check: Did Biden call Trump ‘xenophobic’ for China travel restrictions?
Speaking of his restriction on travel from China, Trump said, “I had Biden calling me xenophobic. ... . He called me a racist, because of the fact that he felt it was a racist thing to stop people from China coming in.”
Biden has not directly said that the restrictions were xenophobic. Around the time the Trump administration announced the travel restriction, Biden said that Trump had a “record of hysteria, xenophobia, and fear-mongering.” Biden used the phrase “xenophobic” in reply to a Trump tweet about limiting entry to travelers from China and in which he described the coronavirus as the “Chinese virus.” Biden did not spell out which part of Trump’s tweet was xenophobic.
Trump’s statement contains an element of truth but ignores critical facts that would give a different impression. We rate it Mostly False.
“We have, right now, a crisis with the coronavirus,” Biden said in Iowa Friday. “This is no time for Donald Trump’s record of hysteria and xenophobia - hysterical xenophobia - and fearmongering to lead the way instead of science.”

his numbers show a far lower impact than what is being talked about by the CDC.
i am not sure i am all in on this guys numbers but I'm not sure about the CDC either.
in any case, it is a different perspective. in a time where perspective is in short supply, i think its good to have more inputs than less....

One day a number will be put on how many died because of Trump's delayed reaction and worse, his lies about the seriousness that were pedaled to gullible fools who follow him on the right wing fake news outlets.

No he did not. By the time Trump banned flights most airlines had already stopped flights. Futhermore, he only banned Chinese citizens. US citizens came right through. AZ's first case was discovered five days before Trump acted and was an American who had been in Wuhan. There surely were hundreds of others. Lastly, phone gps records from China and the world show travel from Wuhan was virtually at a standstill by the time Trump acted. His actions were late and insufficient and were worth nothing but making for wild claims and political BS from the right.

It matters not what Trump does or does not do. The left will take just about anything and put the most horrible gut wrenching spin on it imaginable for the sole purpose of political gain. So no, US citizens did NOT just walk straight though. And this was two days after the WHO says the CV is not even contagious.
