The average IQ of China is 105, Mexico 88. You really don't think that makes any difference in terms of productivity? (Yes IQ is controversial and has flaws. No need to argue that.)

Not to mention infrastructures. China and Mexico are not on the same level.

Cartel crime, extortion, and violence is all over Mexico. Many small businesses pay extortion fees to operate and it wouldn't surprise me if large corporations don't quietly do the same. Even Pemex is not immune.

We do not make our sophisticated stuff in China.

We also frequently staff Mexican plants with US educated staff.

The stuff from China lining retail shelves hardly requires rocket scientists to make.

American $ took this Asian nation you write glowingly about out of their rice paddy economy.

China has opened up many opportunities all over the world, due to the virus spreading from China.

The economy was shut down because of the China virus. The US wasn't the only one shutting down. Other countries shut down too. Previously SARS and the Swine Flu also came from China. Now this virus. What disease/virus will come from China after this one?

South Korea didn't shut down. Japan didn't shut down. Taiwan didn't shut down.

Other countries mean some countries shut down which implies that some other countries didn't shut down. Air travel around the world has practically been shut down. Japan has instituted a stimulus package for their citizens similar to the USA. The Chinese virus has hurt their economy too.

I don't want to stray away from the importance point of this thread: if it wasn't for the virus that originated from China, the shut downs would not have happened and million of job losses in the US would not have occurred.

The point was that there were other successful approaches to this than shutting down the economy.

No, 10 million people lost their jobs because of a VIRUS. Yes, it did start in China, but viruses do not pick one spot to live in, this one just happened to start there.

While it is true that China does have some sanitation issues, and overcrowding, to lay all the blame on them is something Trump has pushed and you are buying it.

Now up to 30 million jobs lost, due to China allowing international flights out of Wuhan by the Millions in December, January and February, all while knowing how dangerous it is in early December.

To date, China has murdered at least 31,000 Americans and countless others across the world. Those numbers are still on the rise.

China is evil. At this point, I don't even want people from China allowed to travel to the US. Stay out!

Cut all ties with and to China.

China is a murderer!
