I know they would have done better. The only thing Trump did right is he sort of closed the border to Chinese nationals coming in from China. He did nothing else right.

How is possible that South Korea was slammed with the coronavirus at the same time we started with a few cases, yet they managed to flatten and then demolish the curve while our numbers are still climbing? Easy. They treated the virus like the emergency it was and responded immediately while Trump dithered, denied, and played golf. The state governors had to use their limited powers to slow things down as best they could.

Now South Korea is sending us test kits, because our guy who knew it all and was an expert on this whole thing was way behind the curve.

Trump was faced with an easy battle, unlike South Korea, and he proved that he's not a fit leader. US citizens will pay the price. Many will lose their lives unnecessarily and the economy will take a big hit too.

Enough with the TDS. Stop defending the indefensible.

I just hope that enough of us can see through the media smear campaign and will show up come election day to carry the victory.
We can only hope.

if only Nancy hadn't held on to that failed impeachment paperwork our government could have been focused on the virus in January instead of the Democrats failed impeachment then.

Typical conservative response

Creating a fictional case to say that their president did a better job than the made up case they just created in their mind.

Remember the story "The Emperor wears no clothes." He wants praise to support his inflated ego no matter what. He's a joke.

If you try to genuinely get your co-worker fired, and it is found that you were legitimately trying to do it off of false info, you just put yourselve on stage to get fired yourself at the same caliber.

The virus isn't Trump's fault. The terrible US response is largely his fault. Full stop. Stop trying to blame China, Hillary Clinton, illegal immigrants, etc. you losers.

I remember when Republicans wanted Obama's head because a single case of Ebola reached the United States.

Don’t blame Trump for his administration’s appalling handling of the crisis.
That's what you are telling us. Got it. America is aware that this is the latest excuse to deny his deadly mishandling of the pandemic, skeddy.

So you concede the guy has botched the response, along with everything he touches.

At least, with your pitiful, albeit phony, excuse, you are admitting to Trump's continued failure to understand or strive to do his job. Yep, I agree he has once again placed his personal and political performance over the needs of our nation. We remain in peril.

Quote:
Over the past two months, President Donald Trump has deployed a dizzying array of lies about why the coronavirus wasn’t a cause for concern, then defenses to excuse or deny his deadly mishandling of the pandemic. The virus was under control in the United States, he argued. The warm weather would make it go away. It would miraculously vanish. It was China’s fault, and limiting travel from China had solved the problem. It was the media’s fault for exaggerating things. It was Barack Obama’s fault. States in urgent need of ventilators should have purchased the medical equipment months ago, and it isn’t the president’s responsibility to fix that problem.

It’s difficult to decide which of these defenses is the most absurd. But one defense that has emerged in recent weeks as the go-to explanation certainly has the honor of being the most damning.

Trump’s Allies Know He Has Failed

Defenders of the president seem to have settled on the excuse that the White House botched its pandemic preparations because it was too distracted.

Flimsy excuse.

Trump is supposed to walk and chew gum at the same time (i.e. govern) as the executive branch. Bill Clinton didn't let getting impeached back in 1998 keep him from governing.
