Regarding herd immunity, is there evidence to support that those who contract COVID-19 once won't contract it again in the future?
Depends on how far into the future you're talking about.
I've seen many virologists opine that it would last a minimum of 1 year, and up to 3 years. It's also been said that the harder hit you were by covid19, the more antibodies you made, and thus immunity lasted longer than if you had a mild case.
But there are also indications that immunity could last far longer --
Michigan's Attorney General asked for President Trump to wear a mask in a letter. He didn't when he visited a Michigan Ford plant. This is after Ford had to close down two plants yesterday after reopening plants. Tuesday Trump was not sure if he would wear a mask at the plant. He truly doesn't give a damn about the American worker and the American public by pulling this crap.
you don't pay very good attention. He said and they said he wore a mask in one place. As to your very next post - yes I could see it be confusing, but he did say he tested negative for the virus - positive news.
What is his wearing a mask got to do with any of the issues? For someone in his position - the mask is nothing but a symbol.
Democrats will never get it through their heads that Trump LOVES messing with the enemy--Liberal News Media!
yeah, it def feeds his ego...
before you get all upset, I voted for him, but, there are things about him I don't like....
What he did in his past doesn't bother me....what bothers me is how he presents himself now, and he does lie, he loved to have his ego stroked....but he's done more for this country than any other president has....

Which is exactly why he should be setting the example publicly. He is the LEADER of this country - or should be. It doesn't matter that he's tested every day and those tests are negative. Trump, as president of the United States, leads by example. He sets the standard. Instead, he is once again messaging to the entire world best practice rules don't apply to him. Yes, I know he wore the mask initially. He has a thing about being photographed with it apparently. Probably thinks it makes him look weak. Instead, not wearing a mask makes him look irresponsible - with no respect for any rule.

It was Fauci himself who said you don't wear the mask if you don't have the virus, the person who should wear the mask are those who tested positive, and those who are unsure if they have the virus or not.
Trump is tested every day, he's not the person to wear the mask. So he's setting the example for people who are tested everyday, because they are sure they do not have the virus.
