Same with every area. Ft Lauderdale metro is called Ft Lauderdale and in includes many smaller cities. Referring it to the metro of Austin and Ft Lauderdale is the norm. The guy in question is called "25 yr old Texas man", so even if the attack happened in a park in Austin (or Austin metro), the guy does not necessarily live in city of Austin. Not that it matters......

It's people like that who normalize the "alt-right" by making everyone think they are much more rational than the actual "alt-right" are. The actual "alt-right" are ethnonationalists and some of the more despicable people you'll ever come across, but knuckle draggers like the OP would have you believe they are merely anyone who opposes anything he/she/it supports, suggesting they are much more mainstream than they really are.

Could just as easily have been a case of a drunken jerk losing his balance and falling towards the ranger.
It is a direct quote from the article. Does it matter of he ran before pushing, or if he just pushed? He confessed doing it, and will be punished accordingly.

I read the article yesterday morning. Hicks was the only one in the crowd who caused a problem and all the other people helped the ranger.

I think its been well established that Hicks is no "right winger" alt or otherwise and is just a moron. Austin police and the ranger said good things about the rest of the crowd for their help.

I suppose that makes them lefties by default in Finns book, and Hicks was a lone right wing party crasher.

Doing one's job is not being a bully. Claiming the ranger was bullying people simply by doing his 100% legal, Constitutionally sound job is the kind of behavior one would expect of a toddler. Waaaaaah - I can't do whatever I want - waaaaah. Anyone who thinks a police officer doing their job is a bully needs to grow up and move out of their mom's basement. And wipe those Dorito crumbs off of your sleeveless T-shirt while you're at it.

He wasn’t even part of the group that the ranger was speaking to at that time. He just arbitrarily came up and decided to push him into the drink. That’s the kind of dumb thing that idiots do. It doesn’t rise to the level of “political act”. He was just being an arse.
