How many of your days do you spend hobnobbing with bigshots you're never met and know nothing about, shaking hands with foreign diplomats and Premiers (ditto), working past midnight every day and never getting enough sleep, while leading the most prosperous superpower on earth?

As well as hearing unceasingly from leftist fanatics who are just slavering for the chance to scream that if you DON'T get tested every day you are obviously an uncaring, narcissistic monster who doesn't care what happens to them, your staff, associates etc.?

All you Trump lovers start clutching your pearls & swooning If both Trump and Pence become incapacitated by the virus, guess who gets to lead the country in the interim? Nancy Pelosi! I call that divine intervention!

But now these newer antibody tests are showing that huge numbers of people who never had symptoms, or had a few mild symptoms nobody though were anything serious, in fact have had Covid-19 sometime in the last several months without ever knowing they'd had it.

Yes, it IS important to be tested, even if you've never had any symptoms. Probably more people have had Covid-19 without ever having significant symptoms, than people who have had it and HAVE had major symptoms.

But even the people who got Covid-19 with few or no symptoms, can likely pass it on to others, some of whom could be badly affected or even killed by it.

People with no symptoms may be even more likely to spread the disease. Because people at least know to stay away from folks who are coughing and hacking, feeling awful, have high fevers etc.
In Texas, 514,000 test have been administered, with only 38,000 testing positive, roughly 7 percent positive test rate. And this is people mostly screened by medical professionals who had some symptoms.

Yet, we are to believe there are millions running around with the virus and don’t know it.

I remain skeptical.

Just a small sample:
Jan 22: Are you worried about this pandemic? "We have it totally under control."
Feb 10: "A lot of people think [coronavirus] goes away in April with the heat"
Feb 14: "We are in very good shape"
Feb 18: "It is going to work out fine"
Feb 22: (One month later) "It is a problem that is just going to go away."
Feb 26: "Because of all we've done, the risk to American people is very low" - I think 76,000 Americans feel otherwise including the 22M unemployed
Feb 27: "Like a miracle, one day it will just disappear"
Feb 28: "Coronavirus is the Democrats' new hoax" - at a rally instead of taking action
Mar 11: "Due to the actions we took, we have fewer cases than in Europe"

I could go on, but you get the point. All of that is what you say when you think something isn't a a "Big Whoop."

How about instead of spending that time at a rally to deride Democrats, maybe work out a plan with your Coronavirus Task Force. How about calling in Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi and McConnell and say "Listen, there's a good chance we may go back to 8, 9 10% unemployment in a hurry. People will be hurting for money. Let's get ahead of the game and negotiate a bill and have it ready to go.

Trump spent a lot of time making it out as "No Big Whoop" and his supporters are fooling themselves if they believe that revisionist history. Then again, they are used to getting fooled.

Thanks for establishing that, as well as disproving your own thread's premise.

On to the next Democrat "outrage".....

So you castigate dspguy simply because Trump didn't actually use the phrase, "It's no big whoop" even though everything Trump said in sum amounts to the biggest "It's no big whoop" we've ever heard??????? Seriously, what does this guy have to do before you'll own up to having thrown your support away on an insidious scoundrel?

All of the Trumpflakes are very touchy lately, any little criticism of Dear Leader gets them all triggered. Gee, I wonder why? Could it be because Trump's presidency is a trainwreck?

Whenever there is a concern -- or a comment about the hypocrisy -- the standard response from Trump fans is to hurl some kind of TDS comment.....

Rarely can Trump supporters rationalize, excuse or explain the hypocrisy......so they divert to the TDS insult.

That's the true TDS.

Trump is an elitist. He doesn't have to wear a mask because he is tested daily and it is up to everyone else around him to not make him sick.

That's the privilege folks talk about.

Trump is known this all his life...and continues.

As President of the USA, leader of a country in crisis, it is customary for the leader of the country to have some empathy for the 'regular ole folks' and at least pretend to be 'in the same boat'.

Trump doesn't even pretend...nope he's better than all of you -- even the folks who bend the knee to him and rules are different for him.

And don't you every forget it.

People have endured FOUR YEARS now of a self-appointed “League of Consciences” who pick up on every single tidbit relating to Trump, and breathlessly post it here. Why? To revel in your discontent. Your concerns and worries have been nothing but a string of petty grievances, from his appearance to his weight to his eating two scoops of ice cream to every imagined conflict under the sun.

Yet here we are, four years later, and Donald Trump is still our President. And y’all are still doing your daily caterwaul. For nothing.

What a waste of life and spirit.

You sound jealous because you cannot be tested daily.

It's a fact of life, the highest government officials get preferential treatment in such matters.

Joe Biden, as the presumptive dim candidate for POTUS is likely being tested daily right now also. Along with everyone in close proximity to him.

And you want to talk about a "nothingburger"?
