And MOST occur in the SAME "ghetto" areas.

they also commit the MOST crimes.
Because of "drug gangs" in the SAME ghetto areas.

Sorry, MOST of this IS DEM controlled areas, run by DEM politicians.
But, as usual the left NEVER takes responsibility for their OWN ACTION and alwasys blame "somebody else"!
The Democrats, Republicans and the MEDIA do NOT care that Black Men kill other Black Men in massive numbers nationwide. Other than suicides, they account for the vast majority of deaths by PEOPLE using a gun, and they almost always chose a HANDGUN obtained and used ILLEGALLY, not any type of rifle. More laws won't stop these deaths, but more Law ENFORCEMENT and fewer PLEA DEALS will.
These guys get little or no jail time for violent crime, then are back out on the street to do it again.
I’ll say. 10 for 49 is quite the lack of gun control. They would likely have had a higher rate using a knife or some blunt force trauma.
yes but they would be violating Social Distancing if they used knives. Guns allow them to stay six feet away at all times. End gun control to fight the Covid.....crazy statement for crazy times

Obama was FROM Chicago. ALL of his political experience was from Chicago. He was expected to have made changes for the better in Chicago during all that time. He didn't. He's a race-baiting opportunist politician who makes zero societal improvements, like so many other Dems.
Exactly. If this happened in 2015, the thread would've been about Obama's responsibility for the shootings, and all you Conservatives would have jumped all over it.
Any particular reason why a supposed Community Organizer would do absolutely NOTHING to improve the community? That was Obama's Chicago legacy.
The individuals committing these shootings aren't going to practice social distancing. Many of them don't care if they live or die.
I'm going to open up a can of worms here. Mind you, I'm only mentioning this for the sake of perspective. I think some other people will use it as fodder to complain about Blacks.
So far, Black Americans are dying from Covid-19 at a higher rate than anyone else. In America, and especially in Illinois, Black men are dying from being murdered more than anyone else. In fact, the death rate for Black males age 15-34 is higher than for most other demographics (and childhood suicide has skyrocketed among Black teenagers). I bring this up in light of what you mention about social distancing. I think the persons doing the shooting, or being shot, aren't likely to worry about Covid-19. Baltimore's mayor was clamoring "quit shooting each other, we need that hospital beds for Covid-19". The persons doing the killing likely don't care if they die or who dies. When an individual can't see themselves living past age 30, consider what kind of mentality will come with that. Now, I'm only talking about this in the context of the particular segment of the Black population living in the worst, most impoverished areas in the inner cities.
That, right there, is something no political, conservative or liberal has been able to solve. When people have so little hope in them that an earlier death means little to them, well, it isn't good.
There's a lot of truth in what you've said, and it's heartbreaking. No matter how much we want that to change, we can't force change for the better from the outside. So what do you suggest? Anything that helps is a plus!
The black communities of Chicago need conservative values to turn things around.
The crime & violence is largely a byproduct of:
-Feminism (promotes and celebrates single motherhood)
-Children born out of wedlock
-No father around to help raise children, be a positive role model
The liberal welfare system only keeps more blacks addicted & stuck in the poverty cycle.
