It may be jokingly referred to today...but we have to remember, not that long ago, if a black person tried to use the wrong bathroom, sit in the wrong seat in a restaurant or bus, drink from the wrong water fountain...these were considered serious enough, that people would be calling police over it, and expecting them to come and 'put them in their place'!

Why do we have to remember that?
I do remember it, understand. I was there. But why do we have to remember it? It has nothing to do with todays actions.
Here is a classic example playing victim, as I have been saying my community lives by. The black cop gets all upset that he is denied use of the restroom, claiming his white cop partner was allowed to use the restroom. He went onto FB and made a scene over it and then the shop was getting many dangerous threats.
As it turns out, the Covid rules for that area deny access to restrooms for ALL patrons and the white cop was ALSO denied access. So the black cop just assumed he was being denied access due to his race, because he is in the oh so popular victim mode.
He now admits he was FACTUALLY wrong, but CLAIMS he was emotionally right. He still cannot let go of victimhood.

Everyone knows that. It is why this race baiting from the cop is particularly egregious. He was attempting to suggest nothing has really changed.
