The local gun stores are completely out of stock in guns and ammo for months now.
Yup San Diego the same. There is still lines out the door of every gun store here even though the shelves are bare. They are ordering and waiting.

Have fun hiding in your home with your AR waiting for something to happen. Sounds like a great life.
Come to Portland and see for yourself. Portland has a large Antifa contingent.

A lot of people will say so much of what's going on is because it's an election year. If that is true or even close the Democrats could make a strategic decision that they would be better off making this country look bad under Trump than trying to bring up gun control in the elections. So they chose to just throw gun control out the window because the change of having it help 2020 elections would be small.

Gun control has never existed. It’s just another paranoid falsehood the right tells itself. Nobody is ever taking anyone’s guns away. By all means, your toys are safe.

Then what does the left mean by “gun control” that they keep shouting?

I don't recall the democrats saying police should have the guns or that the police are doing a great job. Quite the contrary. In fact now in San Francisco unarmed social workers are going to go on what would normally be police calls. What could go wrong there? De gunning the police seems to be their next move.

In recent years the conversation pops up when their is a mass shooting and they believe taking guns away is the right solution for stopping mass shootings. However few people die in mass shootings. More will probably die as a result of the protests / riots due to covid-19 this year. But they see the right to protest being worth the loss off life. However the right to bear arms is not a right to them.

When the protesters came to my little town (8,000), we organized and had armed guards in front of the local stores. The protest stayed very peaceful.

Many of the leading Democrats have said they would like to take ALL guns. And they are not toys. Around here, we hunt to eat. We target shoot and we keep them for protection.

It goes further-it is based on the assumption that police are ALLOWED to do their jobs. But when we have leadership in cities supporting criminals, ordering police to allow savages to loot, riot and destroy, even liberals seem to be getting the message that they are responsible for their own safety. There is no promise that anyone will come to help you-especially with some of the fools yelling "defund the police". When that murderer or rapist breaks in, make sure you thank the social worker...

The companies that make body bags will be running short.
