Driving drunk was his choice as was resisting arrest, grabbing the taser, running and shooting it.

Shooting him in the back, then kicking and standing on him was also a choice, the officer’s choice.

None of these lousy choices can be easily defended.

Rayshard Brooks

Executed black man posed no danger to anyone on the night a policeman unjustifiably decided to use deadly force ending a human being's life.

That he said does not make it true.
Both false or unproven statements. If you turn and point a weapon, "shot in the back" does not apply, and as far as anyone can tell, the business where he kicked him and stood on him is just some BS that some activist types made up to demonize the cop. There's pretty good evidence that what actually happened is that the cop administered CPR and tried to save him.

Brooks was not:
  • Doing nothing wrong.
  • Just parked in the parking lot.
  • A good upstanding member of society.
  • Doing nothing to put his life at serious risk.

Law and order collapses when you punish the police for doing nothing wrong and everything right, but everything gets twisted by lies by people with a political agenda. When the political agenda is that law enforcement is evil and needs to stop, what do you think happens to Atlanta and the rest of the country?

The Atlanta police are all calling in sick and refusing to answer calls. I can't really blame them. If a helluva lot of Atlantans get raped, murdered, mugged and assaulted without consequence, the fault will be all on the politicians.

It's called "doing his job" shoot at the police officer (with a lethal weapon taser in that state) and the officer has a right to shoot him back. If the loser Wendy's-felon would have disabled the police officer, the loser-felon would have grabbed his gun and shot the officer, because "dummy-felon" did not want to back to prison.

This is true - the attempt at handcuffing seemed much too casual, and I think the police officer might have fallen for the chill nice guy routine that the deceased was acting out.

Perhaps the police should have been more aggressive to start with?

The utter stupidity on this thread is mind blowing, Lol.

Someone passed out drunk in a driveway (car running) with multiple attempts to wake him up (“i tried talking to him but he looks dead” ~ Wendy’s employee’s 911 call. This guy was so out of it, he pasted out again right after the cop got his attention and told him to move his car.

Call him an Uber or give him a ride home, or warning? Lmao

Who’s to stop him from doing it again the next day or several more times? Arrest him only when he actually kills a family on the road?

You liberals in here are cuckoo!

Today, liberals deem just about everything racist and must be eradicated from existence. Black woman on Syrup - gone. Black man labeled on on rice - has to go. White Elves and a monkey on cereal- how dare you be so racist. Elizabeth Warren on butter - how atrocious!

These are the liberal “woke” crowd.
What about "Tony the Tiger" on Kellog's Frosted Flakes? Do you think that somebody will be offended by the Tiger and get that cereal removed too.

You're so blinded by your liberalism that facts are thrown right out the window.

Let's stop trying to justify murder. If anyone has an ounce of truth in them, they wouldn't want their loved one murdered because they ran a stop sign or reached for their wallet. Let's be real. So let's stop with the, "He had a record" BS. He is no less a human being. We have celebrities with records. We have judges, doctors, lawyers, business owners, etc. with records.

Just because he is black with a record doesn't mean he is disposable. I don't care if he went to prison for murder and served his time in jail and was released. If he is no longer a threat, he deserves to live. Black or white.

Following the line of thinking that once bad always bad, then why have prisons? Just build gas chambers and be done with it.
