They don't also bring baby formula to young single black mothers in need, or run book drives for majority black schools.

They have a specific mission.

(And I'm very sorry for this father's loss, it's tragic, but he also wouldn't have gotten BLM support had her black boyfriend shot her or stabbed her to death, or if she was the victim of a random drug shooting out on the sidewalk in front of her house).

BLM has a specific mission? Oh you poor, sweet summer child.......

"Black Lives Matter" has a marketing problem.

It's too broad of a name. It should be something that encapsulates its "specific mission" and frames it thusly.

There's absolute absurd irony in painting "black lives matter" in the good parts of downtown instead of the ghettoes, where the residents apparently need the reminder. Not the police.

Well, the looting and rioting by the liberal left is certainly trying to destroy our country along with those who are tearing down our statues and wanting to change product logos and everything else that doesn't fit their agenda.

You’re right, product logos and statues have a long and distinguished place in our nation’s history and have a fundamental impact on how it operates today.

I have been. So many businesses destroyed, looting everywhere, people murdered, people died from protestors blocking emergency vehicles needing to get to someone who called for help. That is your Democrat party of today.

Funny how the MSM isn't promoting riots, looting and arson for this case.
Cons/Repubs are so dense they make SJWs like BLM look sane.

For the love of god BLM has a stated platform on its website. Getting involved in this case wouldn't fall under that platform.

There's no paywall. You don't have to be a member to read it.

Read the damn thing.

The irony here is that the platform is so stupid, for the most part, if Cons/Repubs just focused on that they could make their points against the organization without having to come off as insane.

They sure do.

It's moronic and quite laughable but those of us who know how to click on our Googling machines and read at a 5th-grade-level have digested it.

Someone has said this before, I don't support Black Lives Matter because their specific mission isn't that important to me, but do you get angry when people support Breast Cancer Awareness, but not Testicular Cancer Awareness, isn't that sexist? That right there is a stupid question, and that's what asking BLM to support other issues is as well. Lots of groups have Ambiguous names, it is your fault for jumping into conclusions or saying they have a marketing problem.

They've been saying the same things for years, at this point if you don't know your either not paying attention or being obtuse. I've yet to hear someone claim they accidentally donated to NAMBLA because their name is ambiguous, which it is. So why do people try to pretend to be ignorant about BLMs obvious cause. They only do so because it's a right wing talking point nothing else and this pretend ignorance is reaching the point of a toddler with it's fingers in it's ears screaming "lalalala".

BLM focuses on police for a reason, as police is beholden to the public, criminals repeatedly do whatever the hell they want, no one is going to riot so a criminal turns themselves in, the only way that is happening is if the criminal is being protected by the government, which is actually related to police brutality. I don't like BLM, but to many folks try to piggyback of them, as if because someone is supporting their right to organize and protest, they have to support your issues as well...
