Trump is right. We cannot run from this. We have to go through it.
So wear a mask. It too late to run when you're in ICU at the hospital.

Because anything else would be "incompetence". Amiright?
Obama was in charge in 2014 when we had the Ebola outbreak. Right wingers were screaming bloody murder about his handling of the crises and claiming that it was going to come to the United states and kill us all.

As it turned out we had one to two Ebola deaths.

I guess you forgot.

Wearing a mask does not protect you from getting this virus.

Yes, but it does offer limited protection from you spreading the virus to others.

I'm not sure why you guys keep arguing with these Trump loyalist. No one with IQ above a rabbit believes Trump handled this pandemic correctly. He believes the virus will go away on it's own. No president be he democrat or republican would have bundled this crisis so bad. Every day he proves how unfit he is for the job at hand. We have 5 more months before this stain is removed from the American fabric.

It will 'go away' on its own. Also, there is nothing we can do to make it 'go away' before that happens. Not Trump. Not Obama. Not anybody.

If you think you know a way to make this virus 'go away' any way other than on its own, please do share. If not, then maybe you are the one whose IQ is unimpressively low.

No it won't... and yes we can. There's only one virus in history that has been declared as eradicated; Small pox.

It took a NATIONALIZED and INTERNATIONAL coordinated effort to globally fight small pox. This meant the two superpowers; USSR and the USA share data, resources, and coordinate a common enemy to accomplish despite being right in the middle of the Cold War. The rest of the world followed their lead; allowing both Soviet and American doctors to travel the world to inoculate villages in the most remote corners of the planet.

We are no close to having a nationalized plan much less an international plan to address this Pandemic.

So it won't just go away on its own.. no more than small pox would have. There is something we can do... the control, mitigation then eradication of small pox historically suggests so.

There is a vaccine for small pox. There is no vaccine for the coronavirus. Not this coronavirus, or any coronavirus, despite the so-called "experts" working for 50 years to produce one. They have never been able to do it and in all liklihood, they will not be able to produce a vaccine for this current and rapidly mutating version of the coronavirus either.

Also, by the time any of this were even started, the virus will have mutated into a new version which any vaccine which is developed will not make 'go away'.

In any case, there is no vaccine. Even if there was, the task would then be to inoculate everyone on Earth to make this virus 'go away'. And then also every new child born after that.

This would take decades, even if we had a vaccine, which of course we do not, and even if the virus does not constantly and rapidly mutate, which of course it does.

So we do not have the ability to make this virus 'go away'. Nor are we likely to develop it within the next 50 years or so.

Somehow other nations have figured it out when it comes to containing this and we're the stand-out idiots....so maybe we should wake up and ask what they're doing that we're not. Similar to overall healthcare.

We are closer to the Brazil model than the European model. Guess which ones are considered idiots.
