ATLANTA — Gov. Brian Kemp has signed an executive order declaring a State of Emergency and authorizing the call-up of up to 1,000 National Guard troops in Georgia

Atlanta is in terrible shape. How ironic that politicians are getting the virus, only to recover and prove how harmless it is for the 99% of people infected.

LOL how pathetic!
media is political pundits isn't it?

Do you mean news anchors or talk show hosts?

If I say at least they wore masks it doesn't mean I don't say --- you shouldn't be gathering in large groups?

That's what happens when you imprison a police officer for defending himself.

Georgia, Texas, Florida, South Carolina -- three states that were late to adopt stay at home measures and the first to adopt opening up policies.

All three aren't doing so well.

All three governors more worried about trying to support Trump's re-election bid rather than the practical and real safety of their residents.

Within a week of dining in opening up here in Charleston SC area, there were multiple restaurants closing because employees tested positive (because of symptoms) for COVID. WE were up to something like 50 shut down. Not sure that helps the economy at all.

It's cute you still take Trumps rhetoric for gospel.

For COVID-19, data to date suggest that 80% of infections are mild or asymptomatic, 15% are severe infection, requiring oxygen and 5% are critical infections, requiring ventilation
So, 20% are life threatening, and the remaining 80% are mild, like cold/flu, or not symptoms at all.

Include California and you have 4 states that did an exceptionally good job of having flat curves, meaning they were especially susceptible to spikes when tens of thousands of morons took to the streets egged on by a DNC only interested in hurting the country any way possible.

I know, we're supposed to bash the states that did a good job who as a result are still in the middle of things and praise the states that had such steep curves that they are now towards the end. Brilliant.

No, that's not true at all. When it comes to confirmed active cases globally about 1% are serious or critical with 99% in mild condition.....when you account for the likely asymptomatic cases that don't get tested the serious or critical cases are WAY WAY under 1%.

So the mayor of Atlanta is going to die? When is her funeral?

Did you let the rioters, looters, and protestors know? Clearly they’re still outside not giving a damn.

She must be more unhealthy than Boris Johnson. Even a fatty like him survived it. This thing is 99% harmless and the data reflect that.
