Arizona is contracting for refrigerated trucks to store the bodies as hospitals run out of morgue space.
Full statement from the Abrazo hospital network below:
"Abrazo hospitals currently have adequate morgue space. The state has requested that hospitals implement their emergency plans. Part of activating our plan includes the ability to handle overflow morgue capacity if needed. Abrazo has taken a proactive approach by ordering refrigerated storage in the event it may be needed during a surge of COVID patients. At this point it is not needed. We do agree with the Mayor’s points around promoting awareness around masking, continuing to practice social distancing and seeking medical care in the event of an emergency need."

Does this absolve Gov. Ducebag for putting profits over people? We will not be able to reopen the schools if we continue putting Arizonaians into the hospital and ultimately bodybags because we don't shutdown. He needs to do his damn job and stop Trump bootlicking.

Not talking about Abrazo. The state dept of emergency service said they are pursuing contracts for refrigerated trucks for unnamed hospitals. They may not be needed just yet, but you can't leave bodies out in the parking garage in AZ heat. Deaths are surging. It is a matter of time. .

I agree. I was just putting Abrazo's statement out there since Kate Gallego had previously mentioned that an Abrazo facility had already run out of morgue space when it did not.
If Gov. Ducebag wants to keep August 17th as the school start date, he needs to do more. Plain and simple. He isn't doing enough to protect his people. Ducey is acting as Trump bootlicker and that is it. Neither give a damn about the people, just themselves and business interests.
People shouldn't be treated like children who need to be forced to eat their peas. If they have health conditions that make them vulnerable they should stay isolated instead of going into crowded places.
