"Later on in the protest a Troy police officer, who stood near the church steps, advised a congregant to not come out and antagonize the protesters by smiling and pointing at them, to which the congregant replied to the officer, “they’re the ones who hate you.” A protester shouted back, “we don’t hate him.” Another protester can then be heard off camera making a threat on the church saying, “your church is going up in flames tonight.”"

They are just peaceful protesters they don't mean anyone any harm according to leftists.
I've seen them entering private property more lately. Stores, restaurants, and now churches. This is not a protest, people! Trespassing, harassing, threatening...aren't there laws against this type of stuff?
Why are they going after churches? Are they demanding reparations? Or have they given up hiding the fact that they are a Marxist organization hellbent on taking power by any means necessary?
For full context, that church had an AR-15 giveaway, which was what was originally made it a target for protests. Given christianity is supposed to be a peaceful religion, giving away guns is a very, very odd thing for a church to do.
That said, arrest anyone who initiates violence against a churchgoer, so the true BLM movement isn't tarnished. Just like we need to put dirty, abusive, and corrupt cops behind bars instead of letting them get off free, so people don't feel a need to protest as much.
