So you are handicapped by blindness and cannot see the video that shows the peaceful protesters walking through an open gate and down the street past the couple and their house? Sorry for your disability but you need to compensate.

I doubt it even reaches SCOTUS.

The govt can put a restriction on where and when you protest on PUBLIC spaces.

Yet, idiot posters think they have the right to protest on PRIVATE property?

LoL

Did they call 911 before they decided to threaten people? If not, why not?

Where were the rest of the homeowners in the neighborhood while this was going on? Or was this a unilateral action?

I didn't know people are required to call 911 before they can defend their property or their lives

So, would you recommend that anyone who sees unfamiliar people walking past their house should arm themselves and point a gun at the strangers, or would you recommend they call the sheriff's department?

And idiots confuse passing through a street with holding a protest there. And under no circumstances was that the private property of the McCloskeys. So apparently some idiots think that it is legal to randomly drawer guns to protect property that belongs to someone else.

There was no one on their property. They got spooked, and ran outside with guns they obviously didn't know how to handle. At one point in the video you can see them pointing their weapons at each other.

Not required, but if I was in their position, I would certainly have called for backup. They didn't have enough ammo in those two firearms to kill everyone in the crowd, and once they ran out, they would have been in a serious fix.
