CNN reports a study that shows "actual number of Covid-19 cases is far greater than thought". Well, if this is true, then that must mean the mortality rate is much lower than thought, right?

For most sites, it is likely that greater than 10 times more ... infections occurred than the number of reported Covid-19 cases
Not only is it less deadly, it's likely over 10 times less deadly. Thanks for clearing that up, CNN.

It's definitely a good sign. That being said, that doesn't mean that what we are doing to try to stop it isn't worth it. The viral load would be much greater if people weren't wearing masks and social distancing.

That's the CDC study that I just posted in the covid science thread. Antibody studies have been showing the same thing over and over again for months.

German study from early April:

Yeah... you're not going to convince the people who want to believe it's going to kill everyone that it's not. No matter how much you refute them.

We know who is most likely to get sick - elderly and people with health problems. If we just isolated them deaths would be less than the number who die from flu.
