Why would this warrant “ breaking news” national coverage?
I forgot, 14 people shot at one time is just an average day in America, my bad.
Let's not add in their coverage very recently about Trump threatening to send Feds into Chicago about this very issue either.
If 14 Americans were shot in Afghanistan would you not expect it to make the news either?
This is just what this culture does to itself. Worked as an ER nurse in these cities enough to know. It's a symbol of "maleness" to kill people in these areas of cities. We call it the Rod and Gun Club
I think maybe we all have to stop caring about this city and others where the shootings are up in huge numbers. I mean, the leadership sure doesn't care.
I am becoming desensitized to this quite frankly.
