if ever single person on earth takes it in ten years time it still wouldnt
With social distancing, masks, quarantines, isolations, and contact tracing? Given that these things have kept it reasonably down everywhere but in the US, where arguing against masks has turned into political theater, I’d say yeah, the vaccine would probably put us over the top.
A vaccine isn’t a parachute. A parachute that doesn’t open will almost certainly get you and only you killed, but if it does work will save you and only you. A vaccine, even if it doesn’t work for you is very unlikely to hurt you, but if it does work helps society immensely by lowering the chances of infection of those who maybe have immune system issues.
I realize that idea of doing something because it helps others even if there’s nothing guaranteed to be in it for you directly may confuse you, so take all the time you need to think about it.
Given the months they've had to think of the nature of masks being worn to protect others and still not getting it; I wouldn't expect a large number on here to perform admirably on that score.

Your decision. Is a 50% chance of the vaccine being successful adequate for you?
