This is 100% correct.

A moderate candidate instead of Hillary would also have defeated Trump.

They are completely the reason we are struggling with this pandemic and we are not the only country highly infected. did they already an inoculate most of their population against it ? We don't know that.
So much ideological, ignorant nonsense there...

China is not overpopulated at all. Its population density is much lower than Germany's for instance.
They have done everything to save their population during the outbreak, including old people.
I do trust communist China more than Washington.
The Chinese are just as susceptible to the virus as we are in the West and elsewhere, but they are dealing with the virus in a more intelligent, rigorous, and disciplined way, and the Chinese population is not composed of so many egoistic, antisocial a-holes. When the government there says there is a local outbreak, people wear a mask immediately, without protesting or anything. The Chinese know they are responsible for all of society. That's how they stopped the outbreak in Beijing 6 weeks ago in no time. Almost anywhere else in the world that would have turned in to a major urban outbreak.

The American flue a century ago killed many more people around the world.

But I don't think the majority of Americans are as fortunate. Under Trump I see the rich getting richer, most of Trump's admirers getting poorer even as they cheer him on and Trump making good on his promise to eliminate their Social Security and Medicare by permanently doing away with the payroll tax that funds these two critical programs.

Multi-millionaires won't be hurt if Trump cuts the payroll tax; in fact their businesses will save billions of dollars if he does. It's the poor stupid schmucks in the stands who cheer him on who are the ones who will lose their Social Security and Medicare further on down the road, and then years later when they get a letter from SS saying there is no more money in the trust fund because of Trump's cuts so the government can't send them the check they were anticipating, they'll actually look at each other and scratch their heads and ask, "Wot hoppen????" That's the incredible part: they actually won't comprehend that it was their support of Trump that caused the loss of their SS and Medicare. And frankly, it will be exactly what they deserve if they vote Trump back into office. As that old saying goes, "People get the exact leadership they deserve."
The Social Security program was never intended to last very long nor support the entire country. SS should have been done away with back in the 1900's when it was intended to die. It was a short-term enrollment to solve a problem for a small number of people.

If people were allowed to privately invest that money instead of paying it in taxes, they could get a greater return on the investment instead of giving it to the government. That means the people earning the money get a better return and make more money, not less.

Medicare is bloated and needs reform.

Nobody's taking away medicare. Nobody's taking away social security. Trump is not working to delete these programs. The ACA is something else and also needs reform. Hell, a Texas judge ruled the federal fine levied at those without insurance to be unconstitutional in and of itself.

If you have a problem with social security being bankrupt, maybe you should go read about Bill Clinton's stealing money from social security to pay down the national debt and then never paying that money back.

A great question!

"Cuz Trump" isn't a well-reasoned response.

We knew from the beginning that social distancing works. The general public refused. Regardless of what came out of Trump's mouth, even our leading medical authorities on the matter were lying to the general public one week and giving conflicting advice the next week (wearing masks or not, etc). Even then, we had videos of hundreds of people at a park in NYC, thousands of people together at the beach, etc etc, because Americans were all like HURRR U KANT TAKE MAI RIGHTS AWAY, DATS KOMUNIZM 'N STUFF DERRRR

Hanging those deaths on Trump isn't rational.

What crime are you committing when you apply for asylum?

It is when the messaging from the WH was consistent with the refusal to wear masks, and to basically its priority was to minimize political fall out. You just cant say "regardless what comes out of Trumps mouth" if you can rationalize some percentages of deaths to a failure of leadership, it is clear that the federal leadership was abysmal.

back.
Terrible idea.

Most people in this country have little or no retirement savings. If they didn't have forced social security, they would have nothing.

"For many groups—lower-income, black, Hispanic, non-college-educated, and unmarried Americans—the typical working-age family or individual has no savings at all in retirement accounts, and for those that do have savings, the median balances in retirement accounts are very low (Figures 9–15)."

Most Americans spend every dime they make. If they get a little more in their paycheck by eliminating SS deductions they'll just spend that too.

You know her speech was chock full of lies and falsehoods when the Marxists posing as journalists at AP call her out on it.

When you're falsely claiming political asylum when trying to enter the country for economic reasons, you are committing fraud. That's most of the "asylum" claimants.

And yes, MO did lie.

Yep, I watched a documentary on that. Kids were taken by traffickers but you won't hear about that.

I didn't bother watch MO, although I did see clips and my first thought was now that MO is RICH she's trying to act as if she has class. Sorry MO, they tried, but if you don't have it, you don't have it and you don't.
