When I mention this to a democrat, they come back with "the scientists are learning more and more about the virus and as they learn, they adjust their recommendations". That's all well and fine but if you are going to give the experts a pass then you have to do the same for the president. He's not a scientist or a doctor but you expect him to know more than the experts who are advising him?

I also know for a FACT there was a ton of stuff being done that most Americans don't know about because the media isn't reporting on it. Early on, Trump had to have literally hundreds of regulations changed because they were hindering our efforts to respond to the virus. Regulations related to healthcare, insurance, pharma, transportation, the food industry, manufacturing and many many more. I happen to work in one of those industries and our hands were tied in the beginning when trying to respond until he lifted the regulations so we could do what needed to be done. It sure as heck wasn't him putting COVID patients into nursing homes causing thousands of our most vulnerable to die of the virus. I've also yet to hear anybody say what else he could have done that he hasn't already done that is within his power. So you can sit there and blame him all you like but you might want to at least get your facts straight. All of this being said, I'm in no way a Trump fan and I certainly do not like him as a person but this fake outrage and blaming him for something that was completely out of his control to stop is getting old.

You can look at it any way you want, the horrible numbers are overwhelmingly the Trump administration's fault. Brazil confirms that. Their president and administration is just as incompetent, irrational and radical as in the US, and the result of that is that they are the second most affected country.
And if Johnson had not made a u-turn from the US approach, GB would have ended the same way. They were already on their way, when Johnson got scared and started to listen to the experts.
Gmab. China got caught with their pants down and lied. WHO lied. The "experts" said don't worry, and, don't wear masks. Trump was not the one who told people to go hug people, to go to movies, etc., unlike Democrats. Trump did listen to the "experts.

Why did you bring up Obama anyway, were you wanting him to be your forever president? LOL. If ebola spread like this virus than many would have most likely caught it, from the infected nurse that Obama allowed to fly back and forth around the country, the Dr. who Obama did not make sure he isolated himself, etc. IF H1N1 were like this virus, new and no vaccine could have been timely created, many would have died, more than actually did die. Oh yeah, H1N1 is a flu, a vaccine could be made, people knew what to expect ... and more than 12,000 people STILL died under Obama, over an illness that is known and a vaccine that is far more easier to create than with this particular virus.

How to deal with this virus has been a guessing game from the start, pure and simple, and it STILL is.
Things would have been far worse if a Dem was in control, with their proven cavalier attitude regarding it.

Shouldn't she have said "They watch in horror as it was later discovered the pictures of kids in cages used by the AP to show how evil Trump is, were actually taken in 2014, while her husband was president."?

The Dems....
It's xenophobic to stop infected people from China from entering the US.
Go to China Town and hug people.
Go out.
Go to movies.
Stick infected people in old age homes, because the oldies will die off anyway.
etc., etc...

No doubts the dead count would be in the millions if a Dem had been in charge. That would have been fine with the T-haters.

boo hoo. Poor lil ole put-upon Michelle.
I wonder if she's grateful that Obama decided he 'needed' to marry a black woman, instead of the white woman he'd proposed to, only so that he could make it in politics. Maybe she needs some thorazine to relieve her depression and make her feel no pain about her position as a beard.

Doesn't matter what in the hell China unleashed on the world. You don't blame a cougar for jumping into your yard in the dead of night and eating your prized poodle. Whose fault is that, the cougar's???? Nope, the fault lies squarely at the feet of the poodle's owner who was dumb enough to leave it outside in the first place.

Every country on earth has been touched by Coronavirus. So why is our country at the top of the list of deaths and infections??? I'll answer that for you in seven words: a big fat dope named Donald Trump.

Biden warned us about this virus back in January. Trump responded by saying on February 25th, “The virus is very well under control.” Then, "It will go away like magic." Remember that gem?

We are in a maelstrom caused by Coronavirus NOT because China unleashed it on the world. We're in it because Donald Trump was too inept to listen to the experts and respond properly to it. Europe beat the virus. In America the virus is kicking our butts. And Donald Trump's best response is, "It IS what it is."

Lol at the bad analogy of the poodle and the cougar. A more realistic analogy would be if the cougar had belonged to a neighbor and was let loose by that neighbor to roam the streets .. then it would lie squarely on the cougar's owner for letting it loose.
You and the poodle = the population of the world
The cougar = the virus
The neighbor/cougar's owner = China

Uhm, wasn't his warning something along the lines of .. 'sooner or later there will be a possibility of a pandemic'. People make doom and gloom predictions all the time. His "warning" also came at the time that Trump was working on the China travel restrictions, yanno, the "xenophobic" travel restrictions as the Dems called it.

LOLOL.
Would that be your position if it were Trump who made the Omission?

An intentional Omission is done to deceive, it is the kissing cousin to a lie. Done for the same reason, to deceive.

It was a clever trap set for Melania when she copies the speech as her own.

You ridiculous buffoon Trumpers have the stupidity to bring up the topic of lies when your hero lies every time his mouth moves. Trump doesn't mislead. He flat out lies but you all are too gullible to see it.

I remember her saying when Barack was elected it was “the first time I was ever proud of my country”

This from an idiot who was handed everything for free and never had to sacrifice anything for the country. She represents everything that has gone wrong with America.

Well I am absolutely no Trump supporter, didn't vote for him and never will.

Michelle intentionally omitted the critical fact that her husbands admin built those holding cells for children. Trump wasn't the first one to use them either.

I am not surprised. Deceiving people is what political people do. She is not so different than her husband.I remember a deception. When His admin tried to blame Benghazi on a YouTube video. I remember another. When we were told that we would be able to buy good health insurance for about the same cost as our cable or cell phone bills.

Believe a politician at your own risk. Shame yourself and be a groupie, if you have no pride.
