The film, which premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, premieres on the streaming service Sept. 9. The trailer was released earlier this week on YouTube. It has an NC-17 rating, according to Jam Press) MY OP WTF NETFLIX ????
What about the 100s of other past movies and TV shows that do the exact same thing?!
There is a thread on these kinds of movies/shows on the entertainment forum...there are literally 100s of examples, some are very clearly depicting pedophilia in a positive light.

Just like the forms of entertainment that made caricatures of black people. Just because something has been done before doesn’t make it right. You have to start off somewhere. Sometimes you look back on things that used to be acceptable and cringe.
The ORIGINAL description of the program PER NETFLIX was as follows:
Original Netflix description:
Amy, 11, becomes fascinated with a twerking dance crew. Hoping to join them, she starts to explore her femininity, defying her family's traditions.
They revised it because of the outcry. Since when should 11 y old girls TWERK for adults?????
Just another trashing of traditional morals and values, trying to get the public to embrace the sexualization of children and pedophilia.
I'd like to say this is something new or unusual but than I remember one of the earliest films i remember seeing was the "Blue Lagoon" with an underage Brooke Shields. When I was an adult i remember watching the unedited version of The Professional with Natalie Portman and being a bit disturbed by it as well. Nothing new under the sun and people don't change.
How's the child pageant industry doing these days?
