These radicals are crazy. They have a black mayor and a black police chief. Over half the police force are POC. This isn't about 'white supremacy.' This is about them wanting to tear down the system and impose their marxist uptopia on the rest of us by force.
The Civil Rights Division enforces federal civil rights laws that protect all people in our nation against discrimination because of race, color, and other protected characteristics.

Still wondering why the DNC had none of these radical BLM personalities speak at their convention last week. If the left wanted them to have a voice, why did they not lend them one of the biggest stages in the world? Inquiring minds want to know, but I highly doubt I'll get an answer.
Mayor of Chicago is a prodigy of BLM movement. She is a black woman, with a Native American last name and is part of the LGBT community. However when in positions of power will such people really care about black and brown people? This is where people who support BLM fail at is when people of your skin color or ilk support you, or willing to throw you under the bus at moments notice? Mayor Lightfoot has a city to run. The very same people who support BLM voted for Mayor Lightfoot, also those white liberals who live in separate part of town also voted for Mayor Lightfoot too. Mayor Lightfoot will tolerate people taking down a statue, but wont tolerate people destroying an Apple Store.
Except she tolerated them looting and destroying stores all along the Magnificant Mile, probably including an Apple Store and many more. They even vandalized a Ronald McDonald House where about thirty families with sick children in the hospital were staying.
Let the rest of Chicago rot and burn, she is not going to risk her own safety, by gosh!
She is a terrible person. Anyone that cared anything at all about the people who put her in office would have accepted help from the federal government to stop the murder and mayhem that local forces can't seem to handle, but not her. Her hatred for Trump supercedes the lives and safety of her constituents.
You get what you elect, they picked her, their city is a hot mess. No big mystery why.
