Is it normal for "victims" to chase after their "attackers"?
The victim didn't run after him. He laid dead with 4 bullet holes in his body. Others ran after the killer who was fleeing the scene. They were attempting a citizens arrest, but the killer resorted to deadly force again.

His life is over, having accomplished nothing by his actions. Poor thing.

He would have accomplished that by staying home watching Donald Duck on TV.

Apparently he'd been in that town all day and into the night.
Allegedly he has a job there, and, he was also there cleaning graffiti off of the buildings.

So, if he'd been there all day, working, where does your "crossed into a different state" come in?

If it weren't for the mayor making the police and NG stand down, then yeah, LE should have handled it.

Idiot kid should have stayed home and played video games.
You feel the same about the rioting protesters? If they hadn't been there then this would not have happened.

An excellent break down of the incident.

if they really did their job, they would have go out and arrest people for violating 8pm curfew.

can't even fault the police because they have their hands tied by the local progressive politicians.
I agree the cops have been too lax in enforcing the laws. But do you actually think that the situation would be improved by teenaged kids out there running around with AR-15s trying to be some kind of vigilante?

He sure did chase Kyle, and cornered him among the cars where he was killed.

An eyewitness said that the guy continued to attack Kyle even after Kyle had shot him.

Apparently Kyle had only tried to wound him the first few shots, but the guy kept attacking him.

I agree. If only Jacob Blake had stayed home, nobody would have been killed. If only the a-hole protesters weren't such terrible people! If only they'd stayed home! Instead, these violent terrorists headed to Kenosha from far and wide to punish the entire City of Kenosha for the justified shooting of Jacob Blake. But they showed up and attacked the city anyways.

If only all of those people stayed home and didn't engage in wanton violence and destruction, Kyle Rittenhouse would not have been carrying a gun and trying to guard businesses from further destruction. Businesses that apparently asked him to help and provided the gun in the first place.

The more that we see the police standing down and letting the mob rampage without consequence, the more we're going to see people like Kyle Rittenhouse show up to do their jobs for them. The solution is simple: Stop ordering the police to stand down. Stop the riot immediately. Arrest criminal rioters and throw the book at them in court. Make it clear that this nonsense will not be tolerated. Don't force people like Kyle Rittenhouse -- people with zero training in de-escalation and non-lethal riot suppression -- do their job for them.

So you mean we shouldn't try to protect others or help police arrest and detain suspects?

Is it your job?

When he was running for his life, was he taking shots at others who were just standing there? No, he wasn't. He was running down to where the cops were parked. No one had to try to stop him, since he was heading straight towards the cops.

edit to add..
it's not like he was shooting everyone around him. he was only shooting those who attacked him first .. and.. he was headed for the cops. No reason to put anyone in danger by trying to stop him.

And they noticed a suspicious figure with a gun and a body down with a bullet hole. Don't take a rocket scientist to figure that out...
