Wow, the debates in here are completely out of facts and logic. Does anyone here follows the law at all anymore?
The prosecution is trying to convince the jurors that this is no "self-defense" case. Now all the defense has to prove was that Kyle was defending himself and that he wasn't the aggressor and case closed.
It's really that simple, it has nothing to do with whether he has the rights to carry the AR15. Which is a separate case. He will have another court date for that gun charge.
Say you have a firearm at home and your kids took the guns and shot intruders that came into the house. While your kids have no license to bear arms they will be acquitted because the case is stronger that they used the weapon to defend themselves against intruders and if the case is true there is no crime for doing so.
All I know is when this circus trial is over and Kyle is acquitted, he will be on the path to easy street.
He'll collect millions from all the lawsuits against all those who slandered him. He'll be a hero to millions of people and the groupies will start lining up. The chicks will love his babyface but also that he's a badass. The kid downed 3 punks who were coming after him with murderous intent. The last two while he was sitting on his butt surrounded by a howling mob.
Maybe there will be a song, "The Legend of Kyle Rittenhouse." Or a book deal. Or a movie deal. Who knows?
Nonsense. Who has an assault rifle? In my world anyone carrying an AR15 is being aggressive. I guess if the aggressor had a 105mm recoiless rifle it would be different. But does that occur in reality,.
I have several of what you call “assault rifles”. Most of the people who go to my local range have at least one AR platform rifle, many have more than one. Owning or carrying a firearm does not make you an aggressor. Breaking the non aggression principle makes you an aggressor. For the class, can you tell us all who broke the non aggression principle in Kenosha on the night in question?

I don’t think we need 17 year old kids carrying an AR15 at any protest, certainly raises the temperature and as we have seen the downside.
GG attacked his own grand mother. He has a history of violent behaviors and criminal behaviors and impulse control issues. He wasn't smeared he was outed.
Really-he has been protected and covered for throughout this whole joke of a circus trial. He was a violent criminal with a long criminal history-that attacked an innocent child trying to run away from a mob of attackers. In spite of this, the mainstream media has covered for him, refused to discuss his criminal acts and failed to mention his being there was against the law (curfew).
Aren't they also known to shoot each other, even though they are all adults and not 17?
