My DH is die hard football fan.....will not watch or support, any more. See how far they get with the blm support. Think they will be buying tickets?. How are these black players, going to react, without their big payday.
MY DW feels the exact same way. Spoiled rich brats.
Watch those TV numbers drop below the 20 yard line.
There are no crowds in the stands. I wonder how that factors in. The crowds would boo, cheer, heckle... who knows...but it wouldn't be all neat and clean. Without any real time human feedback, they can just do anything. They are in a vacuum of their own wokeness.
This is one of the worst things about this pandemic---things happening in artificial situations devoid of normal human interaction.
It's a good thing too, because it would get very ugly with this nonsense:
How is the game being changed? Oh, it's not? I'll still watch.
Watch a game from 2005, you'll see a huge difference; and 1995...well that's football the way it was played for almost a century.
Sissies on the field today wouldn't last long under the old rules.

I'ts safer now, some of the violence was toned down, but truthfully I dont miss it much. I always liked an appreciated a 1-0 baseball game, but found low scoring football lass interesting than the higher scoring affairs we have now
