I didn't see any indication or corroboration these were Proud Boys. Nonetheless this is why you rein in political violence before it escalates to open warfare on the streets. You can't just let one side run riot (literally) indefinitely and expect the other side won't eventually fight back and sometimes adopt the same tactics. Foolish people who think they can control the chaos they cheer on are fools.

At this point, "white supremacist" just means, "Politically to the Right of Joseph Stalin." It's all in the same weird jumble with racist, homophobe, Islamaphobe, sexist, transphobe, misogynist, etc. All of these words get tossed around as pejoratives so much, I don't think anyone knows what they mean anymore.
The sad truth is that the smear job against the Proud Boys largely worked. Only now, with BLM and Antifa Marxists trying to smash and burn the whole country does anyone take a moment to question it.
Proof? Of them being let go because of "who they were", and, "on the spot".
Last image on the vid was of them walking one off in cuffs.
i saw a separate video of them arrested, handcuffed, questioned, but then let go and given a big hug by at least one of the officers, all the while on the street.
BLM protester is attacked while running away by the Proud Boys who are Trump supporters. Can't see how this attack is legal those 2 should be arrested one uses the pipe should be charged with aggravated assault.
Looks like they'll assault anything that moves. That would warrant a lengthy prison sentence.

It's always best to call in National Guard and put in curfews. Politically it was a failure for Portland, and Seattle Washington allowing it to turn into riots always a few bad apples in these protesters who want to burn the city down.

Most of the Nation sees BLM and Antifa as a terroristic threat, and will want to dissuade them from having a community presence due to the imminent threat of violence, destruction, and sometimes targeted murder.
The only way these lootings and firebombings are going to end is the locals issuing beat downs. Hopefully LE looks the other way just like they did in La Mesa. Ran these losers right out of town.
