And with no end in sight.

We now live in a world that is fully aware of the benefits of exercise and maintaining a healthy weight and a balanced diet, and never before have we had so much information that is readily available for us to use. Online calculators can program how much calories we should be eating, the healthy kinds of food we should be eating, and how much and what kind of exercise programs to best reach our goals.

Yet the obesity rate continues to rise year after year.

Pathetic.

It's not that hard to go for a walk every now and then.

It's not hard to go to the gym.

You will feel better and live longer.

Americans are such lazy *******.

It's disgusting to watch these people and it's pure laziness and lack of will power. I would like to see health insurance companies begin to incorporate increased rates for these people because they are driving up the cost of health care.

Of course, you can probably find the highest percentages of obese slobs residing in our 'glorious' red states...

Look no further than the differences between an urban racoon vs a rural one. One fat and diseased from the easy pickens, the other trim and sharp

Yet why are these corporate fast food chains ran by right wingers allowed to exist then? They're the ones getting americans fat mostly. Its funny how people will "blast the fat citizens" but not the Right wing 1 percent business owners. LOL

If you want to tell people to stop eating fattening food, don't let republicans be allowed to run a "fat shop"

Oh but lets just place all the blames on the citizens. Thats what conservatives do. Its never their fault

" Black adults have the highest level of adult obesity nationally at 49.6 percent, which is driven in large part by an adult obesity rate among Black women of 56.9 percent."

It's mostly blacks and hispanic women that are throwing off the curve on the high side.....and Asians throwing it off on the low side

...whites are dead center.... 38%

Black and hispanic women are over 50%.....while Asian men and women are below 15%

I doubt that's what's doing it. Most people have enough sense not to eat that stuff every day. Eating that once a week or so isn't going to make people fat.

Sedentary lifestyle is what's doing it. Too much sitting on the couch, playing with the cell phone, time spent burning off very few calories. I eat a garbage diet, a fair amount of fast food... But I have a physically demanding job, and I work 70 hours a week. Maybe not the healthiest lifestyle, but I'm burning lots of calories, and am near underweight for my height, and always have been.

Try getting Americans off the couch, and watch the lard melt. And bring back some of those physically demanding jobs from China that democrats look down upon. China is making America fat and lazy, and democrats couldn't be more happy about that.
