It would be inappropriate to be against her simply because of her religious beliefs.

It would not be inappropriate to be against her if she wants to put the Bible ahead of the Constitution in her judicial philosophy.

In places where the Bible and the Constitution conflict, you mean?

I've already pointed out where the Bible and the Constitution both command, "don't murder", and other such agreements.

I would be ok with her being confirmed. I don't know much about her, but she doesn't come across like a partisan hack with a shady past like Kavanaugh.

It's like evangelicals that said they cared about the Bible until Trump came along. They never cared, it was all a ruse in their pursuit for power. As soon as a sleazy thrice married, multi-bankruptcy billionaire that publicly cheated on his wife but promises they will have power comes along, the Bible got tossed.
Sound like a true liberal Democrats.

I support Judge Amy Coney Barrett for US Supreme Court Justice, an important larger part of his base and to add to his base. I hope President Trump does not pick my fellow Cuban American Hispanic, Barbara Lagoa, since President Trump has the majority of the Cuban American vote, and she is only popular in the Cuban American community. But both are highly qualified conservative US Supreme Court Justice candidates and we will be supportive of either one.

It would be inappropriate if her judicial rulings are faith based rather than law based, we are talking the secular court not a religious one.

you know whats funny? my concern about Kavanaugh was that his judicial philosophy was going to be too moderate like the guy he clerked for... As for his past, i think his confirmation hearings proved he didn't have a shady one.

he has already proven that he is not a radical partisan

She often cites the particular law or laws that back up her opinion.

If scripture also backs it up, so what?

Because this is a secular court and if her "scripture" has too be included then forget her. If her faith was Mormon or some other faith that isn't main stream Christian you would be singing a completely different tune
