What I think is more unreasonable than extending deadlines, is having rules that you can't even start tabulating ballots until Tuesday. I think that ballots should be processed continuously as they arrive, but the computers tracking the counts should be programmed not to allow ANYONE to see what the current count is, until the process comes to an end.
No more early announcements, no more rabid press prematurely talking about who is winning each state. We plain don't know until it's DONE. And if necessary, get more people, more machines, more polling places--there should frankly be enough to handle, theoretically, the ENTIRE population of legal, eligible voters in any place, although never will all of them actually vote. Hell, our government has never had a problem with wasteful excess in other areas of operation, this is one place I'd be fine with some wasteful excess if it meant that every eligible voter who wants their vote counted, can have it counted.
Unlike every other election we've ever had.....No one is buying this "count the in person votes, then the mailins....but if you run out of time, lets just call it that night before more Democrat votes get counted."
Found the person actually in favor of destroying our democracy, and making other peoples votes not count.
That has already been proven that the election is safe and this whole idea of fake ballots is just an attempt from the Trump supporters to try to have them disqualified.
Counting all the ballots is the only way to settle this
Trump is trying to steal the election because he knows he can't win it legitimately. He's up in the middle of the night tweeting nonstop nonsense.
It is just stunning that close to half the nation believes his BS.

What’s worse is that the other 30% knows it’s complete undemocratic BS, knows Trump is corrupt through and through, knows that cheating is his modus operandi, knows he is unfit to be president, etc., etc., but somehow care so much more about fetuses or their taxes or their God-given right not to wear a little piece of cloth on their face. Sad .... and perplexing!

There's something to what you say.
And I'll even go a little fairer to the right.
They know he's an embarrassing buffoon, that he's a liar, that those who fawn after him are an embarrassment and are fools.
But they fear if Biden wins, their beloved country will be over. That the left will take their guns and tax them into poverty, and give the treasurer away in reparations, and rioting and looting in the streets will continue for 4 more years.
And for those who actually believe all that stuff in the paragraph above, it's absolutely no wonder they hold their noses and vote for Trump.
Won't matter.
Dems have already lost. They nominated the only candidate Trump could beat in 2016, and did even worse in 2020.
