Why do you think we've always had ONE election day where you physically go to the polls and vote in a standardized manner? Because mail in voting is to easy to make fraudulent, that's why. Idiot Progressives (Marxists) want voter fraud.
There’s nothing standardized about how people vote in this country.
Some states use electronic voting machines, some use paper ballots...
And most, if not all, states count ballots after Election Day as long as they are received/post-marked day of.
How much fraud is there due to mail-in voting in Colorado every election year?
Listening to you, the military and many others who have no other choice but to vote by mail would be completely disenfranchised.
The state court ordered a three-day extension for ballots clearly mailed on or before Election Day and for those with missing or illegible postmarks “unless a preponderance of the evidence demonstrates that it was mailed after Election Day.”
I can kind get on board with that, all things considered. The problem is when the Democrats blow a gasket when ballots postmarked AFTER Nov. 3rd are tossed out, as they should be. People that wanted to mail in ballots had plenty of time ahead of the deadline to do so. If those late postmarked ballots get tossed, it's because of their own negligence.
No ballots postmarked after Election Day should be counted.

the problem is not "mail in ballots"..or even "absentee ballots"...not even "early voting" the problem is the reliability of the post office (we have already seen plenty of "ballot dumps" (btw mostly trump ballots)) and their ability to actually get the mail through (on time)
people have had mail in ballots for over 2 months..there is a deadline for getting those ballots in...now the cheating democrats want to extend the deadline
election DAY is supposed to be one day
but now we have "early voting", "mail in ballots" and "absentee ballots"
so what is the next thing the cheater liberals want to do... extend mail in voting for AFTER the election....
I can just see it...."hey xxx lost the election by 4 votes, hey we can NOW mail in these extra ballots and make xxx win, because the 'power that be' extended the election to ensure that xxx wins"
just maybe, they should start counting the mail in VERIFIED votes as they come in, and not wait till after election day
this way you not only verify that the person who say they are, is the person on the rolls, but can also document that they sent in a mail in ballot, and that they should not be ALSO going to vote in person
liberals are infamous for there slogan of " vote early, and vote often" (and vote many times on the same day)
yes generally the system does work....but like anything it is not perfect
1. I am glad to see that the system generally works
2. It is a good thing that the system is able to catch the fact that the person died, moved or did not sign
3. it would be a real shame if the person voted then moved, then voted again
4. the real shame of this is that people didn't read it, just checked a few boxes then did NOT sign....this could be where voter fraud is, or just the fact that people in general don't fully read things
5. another shame is that there are plenty of times that the REQUESTED ballots never reach the addressee, due to mail being stolen right off your front porch (this happens a lot with packages around Christmas), or the filled ballots never make it to the electioneering office due to Postal Carries dumping them in dumpsters,
the thing is that what should not happen is getting ballots, or polling place cards in the mail, and the person has been deceased or moved for years..... this happened with my father, he passed in 13' and yet we still got a polling place reminder for the 16' election sent to his name and address (they send to EACH voter)
The only ballots reported as being dumped by the Post Office have been undelivered to the recipients.
Where/when were these “Trump” ballots dumped?
And yet another reminder, mail ballots are not new.
They’ve been used since the Civil War and every election since by deployed military.
As long as the ballot is postmarked before/on Election Day, it should be counted.
Why do Democrats WANT mail in voting so much? Because it begs to be fraudulent and Democrats are masters of voter fraud. Dishonest liars and cheaters.
Why did Republicans in Colorado agree that mail voting was the way to go?
Could it be that it makes it easier for people in remote parts of the state to vote?
Or that having time to review all of the ballot measures in the privacy of one’s home makes for more informed voters?
Or that voters don’t have to navigate the vagaries of Colorado weather to get to the polls?
Why don’t people want voting to be a simple, straightforward process?
I don't agree with extending. They don't extend the tax deadline, and people can manage with that.
