When a country is so divided (almost 50/50 now) and each half hates the other half, that country does not have a united future. If a workable and peaceful division is accomplished that's not entirely a bad thing.
One positive is the absolute rabid Pitt bull of a media turns into a sleeping pug overnight if Biden wins. They've done their job. They basically won an election...
In my mind, it has just been a matter of time for a long time--at least 15 years. Of course, I have hoped for as long a "life in America" as possible, but I held no hope that it would go on forever, given the political/social climate in this nation that has been darkening for a long, long time.
At this point, it will be back to the same strategy that got me through Obama's reign--buck the increasingly socialistic system as much as possible, find workarounds, and insulate myself from society at large as much as possible. But, I don't know how long that is possible now for anyone who believes in individual liberty (the real kind, not the pop drug culture crap).
We have half the nation shooting for individual subjugation/collectivism and the other half shooting for individual liberty/free-market (and a couple of other smaller groups). To tell you the truth, I really wish the nation would split: collectivists in their own kingdom and individualists/free-market in another. No way that is going to happen though, short of some major catastrophic event. So... just disappear into the national woodwork. Be invisible. Make yourself appear to be not worth the collectivist's effort.
Umm Republicans still have the Senate and SCOTUS!!! While the democrats retain the house majority, the GOP has gained a lot of ground there. He won't be able to really get much passed. It will likely be back to the times of Obama when we really completely forget about who the president is a few months after inauguration day.

He can do a lot with executive orders. Expect major increase in refugees in this country and open the floodgates for anyone and everyone. And free free free for all of them.
I have to wonder how many of those who voted for Biden even knew (or cared) what he was campaigning to do? My guess is many just took any alternative to President Trump without paying attention to the platform Biden ran on.
I know a couple of Biden supporters, at least one of them is what you describe. For her, it is literally Orange Man Bad, literally nothing else matters. The Democrats could be invaders from Mars planning to eat all our children but all that matters to her is that she thinks Trump is a evil racist Russian criminal planning to turn America into a fascist police state. Oh and he has bad hair.
So short sighted, sees a tree she does not like but misses the entire forest behind her.
You know the irony is funny, some Liberals call millions of other Americans "uneducated", but the reality is that many of them should look in the mirror.

Free Markets mean liberal trade agreements and low tariffs.
Trump is no supporter of free markets nor are his supporters. Ronald Reagan he ain't. Hopefully the defeat of Trump will allow real Republicans in the Reagan mold, to take the Republican Party back. Then I'll vote Republican again.
Little Mario, Lying Ted, Sleepy Joe etc. At some point the adults in the room tire of middle school level name-calling. At some point many of us said it's better to have a Democrat for President than have the party of William Buckley reduced to that level.
OP, did Trump/Republicans not stack the Supreme Court...their way?
