In my opinion the US has made a critical turn in our historical path. With Trump we were going down a path that leads to fascist dictatorship. That is how dictators are made, by lying and scapegoating. We'll never know just how big of a bullet we dodged. I was afraid that someday our grandchildren would wonder how we ever let Trump grab power, just as we wonder today about Hitler. Thank God we had the sense (barely) to turn from that path.

You really have no idea what a fascist is and need to study more about hitler. My uncles fought in ww2 and my neighbor escaped nazi Germany after his dad and brother were killed.
