My father in law's company did contractor work in Trump's buildings over the years. He had nothing but good things to say about Trump. Got paid on time and got more work. But then again he was a hard worker and delivered what he said he'd deliver.
Fact: Trump is a documented liar.
Fact: Trump is now a loser.
Opinion, (and a despicable one at that): Harris is a "wicked witch"
Biden hasn't told one truthful complete sentence this whole campaign. Harris might not actually be a witch but she is wicked. Did you "fact" check the poster who first said Trump was a witch? Here's a little help, males can't be "witches". Trump is the wonderful wizard lol.
In all my years I have never shed tears over the outcome of a presidential election....until today.
A weight has been lifted. I hope the dark cloud over this country will dissipate, in time.
To quote my good friend, who has had his share of prejudice in life, - "I feel like I can breathe again".
Yes. Yes we can.
*beep beep*
I didn't realize how stressed this election has been making me, until now.
Whewww. Deep, deep exhale.
The coolest thing has happened.
My facebook feed, and phone text feed, has filled up with images of our grand and glorious flag, the stars and bars, Old Glory, the Star Spangled Banner, waving in the breeze.
It feels like now we've taken the flag back, for the entire country, after the right has co-opted it for themselves the last 4 years.
Oh say, does that Star Spangled banner yet wave? Yes, my friend, it does. Over all of us.
The way this is being played out will have deep and lasting ramifications.
BTW, Covid is not over. It is getting worse. Joe can’t escape either seeing hundreds of thousands more deaths or shutting down the economy completely. And that will be on him.
Yes, there are winners.
We The People are the winners.
All of us.
And may god speed our healing as a nation after 4 years that have nearly put us out of commission.
I think a lot of people (most Americans outside of the hyper-politicized circles) are really just tired of all of the divisiveness.
Even though I have my own personal opinion on who has contributed more to that problem, I'm hoping that the consistency of people who want to see our nation effectively fight this awful pandemic plague, have more peaceful relations internally, and be able to provide for themselves and their families and keep everyone happier and healthier includes people who voted all across the ballot and includes people in red and blue states/cities/counties, etc.
