Awhile back 60 Minutes did a piece on the border wall built over a tunnel that allows raw sewage and other pollution to enter the United States from the Tijuana river. You can see a picture of it in the article from CBS NEWS: "Raw sewage flowing into the Tijuana River brings toxic sludge to California."
You can clearly just walk through the tunnel into the United States when the river is low.

So a question. When you run on a hate fueled fear mongering need a boogeyman to defeat platform. What do you think is easier? Build a wall and sell that concept as a cure all rather than dealing with an internal problem that both sides have used as a political football, or actually fix the problem internally?

After 4 years and wasted tax payer dollars has the 11 million illegals just magically disappeared? Ah nope. Has it stopped the thousands coming from South America seeking asylum? Ah nope.

So you want to clap for dear leader for stopping a few from crossing with the billions of dollars spent to do so when the wall has done nothing to fix the illegal internal problem? Really?
You mad bro?

The wall system works.

We are not concerned with stopping legal entry into the United States from foreign countries.

Just the illegal ones where the foreign national does not have a valid visa to enter the United States.

Little to none made it over or under the "new" walls. What does the legal ports of entry have to do with anything unless you are trying to claim that hardly anyone is getting through other areas which is BS as hundreds of thousands a year are getting through other areas that don't have the good walls. Maybe it's you that needs to do the research!

Just where was this tunnel you speak of? Was it under the new walls? Um no, it wasn't! What's hate filled about deterring illegal entry with good physical barriers? We don't need a boogeyman. Millions of job stealing, tax stealing, resource stealing illegal aliens have flooded our border not to mention criminals and those from known terrorist countries. Those are the facts and facts are not false boogeymen!

No one has said that good walls are a cure all but they are an effective deterrant to illegal entry. Better to deter as many as we can at the border than to allow them to get into our country where they are much harder to weed out and more expensive to detain and deport them.

If not for sanctuary cities run by the Democrats, their opposition to ending birthright citizenship, benefits and jobs for them many would leave on their own. Constant claims of racial profiling, not promising amnesty and healthcare for them all the time would make more of them leave and fewer would come here.

In the meantime good physical barriers should be a part of the solution and they help the Border Patrol do their jobs more effectively but I guess you know more than them and Homeland Security?

It's obvious from his posts over the years that he is either an illegal alien himself or has ethnic ties to them. He fools no one!

Perhaps improving visa system to track those that stay once their visa has expired would be money better spent.

No. The wall system is one of the best investments this country has made in a long time.

Why can't we do both? Protect our border from illegal entry and tracking visa holders? At least we have a record of the visa over stayers and they aren't costing us over $100 billion a year like illegal aliens cost us. Illegal entrants are not only stealing jobs, taxes and resources from Americans but there is the criminal and terrorist element among the border jumpers to.

Why do the pro-illegals always deflect to the visa over stayers? Hmm.

It’s his legal last name.

Since it’s him, “childish” still applies, though....

Illegal immigration was down 50% in 2020 as compared to 2019. And that's with the wall only partially competed.
I don't think Biden can stop building the new wall. He and Obama never did succeed in closing Guantanamo, and that was supposed to happen "on day one". Trump couldn't stop DACA.

The Mexican police are helping these days, and that's because of Trump's arm twisting. None of this is going to change.
Trump's legacy will be the Southern Wall and a conservative judiciary.

As the gap between standard of living in the US and elsewhere continues to close, we will see less and less immigration to the US. Soon we will be number #1 in terms of least immigrants! Winning!
