I just posted on yesterday from the new york times talking about how the breakthroughs are higher than the gov't is admitting and increasing daily. I don't have time to provide data for you that you will dismiss anyway. Search the board.
I can't read the NY Times and I'm not paying for it.

That is the mantra here on the forum... Putting it on you to go back and find information that you already posted. Happens every day here
Kind of odd that people who pushed the vaccine because there was no evidence that it is unsafe are now discrediting the information that says it may be unsafe.
Keep on dreaming....not all companies will mandate them because they trust their employees to make their own personal health care decisions.
I think you mean nightmares. I hope companies don't bow. That's the way it should be, but there are more and more companies voluntarily mandating every day. The Feds are exercising their power in ways never before imagined too. Look at the new threat on nursing homes today. If they receive Medicare funding they have to mandate the shot. There aren't a few, it's thousands of NH employees not vaccinated.
Biden could hit private non medical businesses too in similar ways too. No opportunities for gov't loans, removing available tax breaks, etc. if they don't mandate.

"Breakthrough illnesses are no fun, but a breakthrough infection is unlikely to land you in the hospital — or worse. According to the CDC, as of July 26, only 6,587 vaccinated Americans had become sick enough to be hospitalized with breakthrough infections, out of more than 164 million who have been fully vaccinated. That is a breakthrough hospitalization rate of a little more than 0.003 percent. There have been 1,263 COVID-19 deaths in vaccinated individuals, representing a death rate of 0.0008 percent among vaccinated individuals."
I would guess hospitalizations and deaths from the unvaccinated are higher.
I’m not incredibly concerned with immediate side effects, as they seem to be mild for the most part and rare for the more serious effects. My aversion comes from our not having years-long data, and this vaccine being so new. Because we don’t know what we don’t know, I’m looking at my family’s risks of serious illness as the main deciding factor.
As of right now, our risks are so low that I won’t even consider vaccinating. I had Covid, and the age range my kids fall into has a 0.05% mortality rate. They have no underlying health issues, and are rarely sick, even when other illnesses are making the rounds. That may even be a high percentage, as it’s pretty much a given that many kids had Covid that was never diagnosed. It seems the true number is approaching a statistical zero. Why would I have them take the vaccine in that case?
64 million Americans already got 2 doses of Moderna and 91 million got 2 doses of Pfizer.
Millions are going to be getting booster shots starting Sept 20.
Step aside if you're scared to get a shot because there is going to be huge demand again very soon and a stampede of people grateful to get booster.
I'm hearing some people won't get boosters because the government has been dishonest about covid. Biden said, "vaccine, no covid." Sure Joe, tell us another fib.
