Back then, blaming one group not exactly a liberal idea especially the Jews. Anti-Semitism was a conservative value then. Heck, overal racism was. That time period not that far removed from slavery. USA still had discrimination laws against non-whites.

In America and throughout the Anglosphere. Nazis is right wing. But in much of the world nazis like communism, Marxism anarchism are actually far left wing. Don't you know nazis are socialist meaning national socialist workers party. Do you know that the nazis were against capitalism just like communism. Don't you know nazis undermined the church and other religious organizations. Also nazis has helped influence other forms of left government such as peronism in Argentina and Baathism in Syria and Iraq which Syria today is still socialist, and Iraq used to be.
Please make note that the United States is anti socialist. America does not like anarchist, facist or communist. All three want to tear down American democracy and capitalism.

Both the left and the right scapegoat points people for societies ills upon larger swath of the nation state. Not much different between nazis blaming Jews for something, while Soviets blames the rich and wealthy which led to Jews. BLM and cultural Marxist blame whites, while Trump blames Mexicans and Chinese. Mussolini blamed the catholic church for italys problems. French blamed the monarchy and estates. England blamed the catholics. Societies through history have dome this. Romans blamed Christians, when Rome became Christian, they put blame on pagans and Jews. You need to read more history. Any ideology can scapegoat regardless if it is far right or far left. Scapegoating is wrong.

The Fascist right has ALWAYS been the greatest enemy to freedom in the West, ever since this evil scourge emerged in Europe in the early 20th century.
The Ultra-Nationalist right wingers have successfully used fear and hate in order to coalesce their movements. Their ultimate goal is power and control, no different now than it was back in the 1930's.
Considering how easily the Nazis came to power back then, it is no surprise that today they are finding fertile ground in Germany to plant their seeds of hate, just as they are all over the world. Plus today, they have modern technology to amplify their propaganda to the masses.

And communist have not? Please note than I'm not defending nazis or fascism. Any sort of ism or ist are not compatible with the west politically and economically.
Also note That the world was messed up back then. You had empires that fell, global pandemic that just finished, a massive war that ended and a big economic crash. Those that be saw communism and fascism as the future. People across the globe looked at communist Russia and facist Italy as models and alternative to failed Anglo-Saxon capitalism. If this makes you any better. Lenin sent a letter to mussolini congratulations in coming to power and that socialist movement is growing.
