The 117th Congress, has from Jan 4-Jan 19, to bring charges of Violation of Emuluments Clause, and Impeachment and Trial of mr djt. #Diaperdon, will have 2 weeks of pure political terror. After Biden's Oath of Office, mr djt will forget the political rights and will look for battles on civil, tax, and financial fronts. China may buy Deutsche Bank's loans to, mr djt & assoc/companies, outbidding Putin and Russia.
A lot of the legal problems Trump is facing involve money. This is about hotel money. And a reminder of how he used his office to rake in payments to keep improperly enriching himself.
Is Trump the only DC politician to do what you claim?
Have there been others?
Is it a matter of how much they steal? If yes, what is your limit?
Did you attack politicians from both sides for doing it, or just 1 side?

We don't want it! Don't you get that? We DON'T WANT ANY OF IT. We just want those criminals gone, gone for good. We want to be free of this interminable racket.
Trump gets blame for what Trump does. We don't want to blame him for anything, we don't want him to do anything blameworthy. We don't want it. We don't want those damned criminals around.
I read an interesting article in the Economist about this. In summary, Trump doesn’t own the property, he leases the property from the US Federal Govt and is paying millions of $ per year for the lease which, even Trump has stated he likely agreed to pay too much for. The Trump org also borrowed millions to renovate it. The loan and lease is too much for Trump so he wants to sell it. He’s gotten offers, but he’d still lose millions. Another sticking point is that he requires whomever buys him out keep the Trump name, which no one wants.
I don't know if it's scarier that you claimed this bunch of mistruths, or that you fervently believe them all. Is this what you've read, or you're just altering the narrative fed to you by the media to even better fit your point?

Then also separately there is going to be a barrage of lawsuits and criminal probes. He will be deposed in the Jean Carroll rape case (just one of fifteen or more possible sexual assault allegations).
Apparently, he is not allowed to stay permanently at Mar-A-Lago either It's a HOTEL, and permanent residents are not allowed! He needs to find a new permanent address.
Trump is in a world of hurt right now, which is why he is acting so crazy. Trump would literally do anything, including treason, to keep the presidency right now.

He reached an agreement with the City, in exchange for converting it to a private "country club" with a limited number of suites, that no member could stay there more than 7 days in a row, more than 3 weeks a year. Just because it is currently listed as his address, until sometime around Jan 21st, doesn't mean he doesn't own or is purchasing or going to rent any other property in FL.
And btw, I'm no attorney, but the agreement says "No member shall stay..." yet the same document identifies him as Owner, and is silent on the Owner living there.
The NYT/WaPo/HuffPo/Axios/BusinessInsider/MotherJones/Daily Beast haven't bothered to get any comment on that aspect.

What it means is he can not stay there as his permanent residence without violating the agreement. It can not be his home.
But what's a little violation like that to a lifelong con artist and criminal like Trump? He will probably violate and get sued by the city for it.
