Donald Trump - is holding up stimulus package because he wants $2,000 per person.

Trump voters: way to go, Trump! Fighting for the people!

AOC, Bernie Sanders - called for $2,000 per person back in September.

Trump voters: wasteful socialists, how would we pay for that!?

Trump ruined his "mystique" as a great negotiator a long time ago.

At any rate, he caved and signed the bill. So what was the point of all that? All he achieved was to interrupt aid to needy people.

He wanted to spite the Turtle and create discomfort.

The only way to really do that though was to not sign it and drag it out as long as possible impacting the Georgia election.

I see why he did it in the first place but to sign it now makes no sense.

I know right? Trump supporters only like what Trump tells them to like. They are mindless hive mind zombies. I am for the 2,000 stimulus, BUT not at the expense of putting the rest of the stimulus in a leaf shredder. Trump has done exactly that. No way to explain it in any other way.

Just like you wouldn't believe anything that isn't said from Trump. People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. FYI, I have knocked the MSM in particular CNN quite a few times. Look at plane crashes taking up virtually all of day. I've also criticized CNN only giving time of day to certain candidates including Trump when he was looking for the Republican nomination in 2016. That said, that happened with a number of channels including Fox, look at the debates for the Republican nomination... Hell in 2016 I watched RT to cover the third party because I debated and flirted with a third party vote rather than the Hillary vote I ended up with. CNN by all criticism of what they did with the major party primaries actually had Gov. Johnson and Gov. Weld on several times. For what was said on these appearances, I did not go with the Libertarian ticket. That said had Weld been on the top of the ballot, I would have voted Lib last time. This time, the third parties were entirely irrelevant and lost out on a major opportunity.

I see through this even if I appreciate the gesture. That said he pretty much blew up the bill to get it and force even more Americans to worry over the next two weeks about what comes next. Evictions, bankruptcies and foreclosures just don't go away off of people's credit history.

Oh I knew too. That said I think this should wake up those that do not or have not thought it before. That is besides his zombie followers.

I knew that, I'm originally from Long Island. My father, a lifelong Republican knew that too.

Are you a northeaster by any chance?

I largely think that will be untrue.

Trump may not be the only, but he is the most important. I don't get the continuous deflections to others. I'm not saying Pelosi is great, she has faults.

As for what was included as the "pet projects" it was what would be in not the stimulus but rather the omnibus spending bill. To save time on the arguments over both bills, the COVID stimulus was put into the omnibus spending bill. The aide that has been used as an argument against the stimulus, was from the omnibus spending bill.

Well yeah, this is not the first time Trump blustered about a bill. However, I think this one since it hits the American public where it hurts, dinner table economics. Anyone who doesn't realize the incompetence of Trump are truly brain-dead zombies and have been poisoned.
seems like you have been poisoned with some real TDS as demonstrated by your lengthy and frequent missives against him

So Trump is a con-artist? OKAY, we could actually have this discussion. But if we're going to talk about con-artist you're going to have to talk about 90% (and I'm being generous by saying 90%) of politicians whom are con artist. In fact, politics is nothing but con artist out conning each other. If you can't see that, I have a hyper loop to sell you.

600 or 2000 is friggin BS to me. LET THE COUNTRY GET BACK TO WORK instead of waiting on our hands and knees for crumbs from the government.
