The Mom of Zip Tie Guy arrested

FBI agents on Saturday arrested the mother of the man who became known as “zip tie guy” after authorities said he was videotaped in camouflage swinging plastic handcuffs inside the Capitol when rioters stormed it Jan. 6.

Lisa Eisenhart, a nurse from Georgia, was taken into custody in Nashville, and charged along with her son, 30-year-old one-time bartender Eric Munchel, on federal conspiracy offenses.

When I saw her pic, I immediately started humming that old Ray Wylie Hubbard tune, “Up Against The Wall Redneck Mother”. She definitely fits the profile.

This shameful attempt is slightly analogous to the 'Bundy Standoff':

Bundy standoff

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bundy_standoff

Occupation of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Occu..._Refuge#Trials

Although the Trump Standoff is much more analogous to the Confederacy & its Lost Cause mythologies, imho.

The more I think about the events of January 6, the more the farcical elements rise out of the tragedy (the Viking cosplayer being the most obvious). Like a classic Coen Brothers movie.

That's about the perfect name for him. Some images made me laugh, others made me concerned. In the end, our Capitol was taken by a bunch of muppets. An only slightly more intelligent and determined group would have succeeded at hanging Pence and Pelosi and who knows who else. I suspect only a very limited number of participants had those intentions, but mob mentality is a real thing, as witnessed with all the events of 1/6. It could have gone much, much worse than it did.

Can someone explain how capitol security could not stop the rioters from entering, but they where able to remove the rioters once inside? Had extra security arrived?

It looked like an Insane Clown Posse riot embedded with violent extremist. It was too close a call and your right this could have been far far worse.
