derrr... yeah he owns his hotels... and charges the government for all those rooms, food, and activities the secret service and his other followers use...

Yup, it's never enough with you people. Trump can give away his $400k salary, and it's just never enough. I'll be glad when this TDS fades from public discourse

His salary means nothing when his hotels are charging the government millions.

Donating his salary was the shiny object to distract from his record-setting spending on personal travel - which he was a direct financial benificiary.

Trump’s donation of his salary paled in comparison to the incremental cost of flying / securing his trips to Florida or NJ to play golf, the majority of weekends, let alone the need for Secret Service to protect multiple Trump properties. All his children and their families received 24/7 Secret Service protection, at home and wherever they went.

Biden was far from a wealthy man most of his life. What wealth he has he earned after leaving office in January 2017. He and his wife had book deals and made bank on the speaker’s circuit.

Unlike Trump, decades of Biden’s tax returns are public.

His wealth is very recent and happened once he left public office. Book deals and speaking engagements pay well.

Unlike, Trump, decades of Biden’s tax returns are public information.

What do you mean it’s never enough? The fact is Trump approached this as a businessman. The return of investment for that 400k was millions. He also knew that people that are not financially inclined would look at it as an act of philanthropy when in fact it was just an investment. It was a win-win for him.

What part of Trump CANNOT AND DID NOT ORDER THE SECRET SERVICE TO STAY IN HIS HOTELS?

A hotel is a BUSINESS, you stay there you PAY!

Do YOU write a check to the fed over and above what you pay in taxex? Why NOT, YOU can AFFORD it?
