Lol...you are definitely getting a lot of "whataboutism" in your replies. Instead of just simply answering the question. I guess using whataboutism as a retort is only okay when one side uses it.....
Is the term whataboutism, is that a new reply to deflect from what their side does? It’s really that they can’t defend it, so they come up with a word they think is clever.
Joe will probably keep his salary, but he won't spend a quarter of a billion dollars flying to his properties to play golf four times a week. I'd say the country will come out far ahead financially.
You guys forget Obama’s trips to Hawaii, Martha’s Vineyard, Michelle’s trips to Europe etc...
A Billionaire. Thats questionable, and diminishing by the day. As far as his salary. Thats pennies compared to what he took. Like the $120+ million he took from the taxpayer for playing golf, mostly at his own golf courses. Also know when he became president, he jacked up all the rates on his hotels and golf courses, knowing he could pillage the taxpayers pocket even more. Oh yea, he is that stable genus he has always said he was, its just at grifting. What guy. Enjoy.

It seems like one can't even have decent debate without this term being thrown in. Bringing up past examples of what the opposite has done is very relevant. I have seen both sides use it though.
Really? Trump owns his hotels, in case you don’t realize Obama had to rent a house and I’m sure not a small average one, and it is real expensive there, the cost to house secret service, food, activities, fuel to get there and back, I’m sure even more when Michelle stayed behind after Obama left. Florida is a lot cheaper to visit then Hawaii.
Such hypocrites. You do realize Biden did the same thing, right?
According to the Secret Service agent in charge of government and public affairs, the Secret Service paid former vice president Joe Biden $2,200 per month for the use of a cottage on his property in Wilmington, Del. Through September 2017, Mr. Biden was paid between $113,300 and $171,600 under this lease agreement.
And the clinton's charged the Secret Service for the guard shed at their NY property.
Been going on for a long time and the ONLY time the dems complain is when it involves a repub.
Hypocrites, to the core!
NO ONE FORCED the Secret Service to stay at Mara Lago. It IS a business, so of coarse they have to pay to stay there. Just as the Secret Service paid to stay in expensive hotels for obama's vacations in Hawaii, it ain't CHEAP.

I agree, They throw it out there, because they can’t defend the fact.

Yes, really.
Judicial Watch announced today that it has received new documents from both the Secret Service and the Air Force relating to Obama travel expenses, bringing the known total over the past eight years to $96,938,882.51...
...From a combination of an analysis from the HuffPost, the GAO or General Accounting Office, Politico and the Washington Post using costs from both Obama and Trump golf trips the estimated cost of Trump’s visits so far come to a range of $105 to $108 million...
FYI, the "so far" in the above quote from Forbes was July 2019. He's golfed 98 more times since then, so you can add another $30-40M to that $105M figure, and that doesn't count non-golf trips, or the trips made by his family. I think the estimated cost for Melania and Barron staying in Trump Tower for the first 90 days of Trump's term was another ~$30M.
