Sounds about right. Russia would do anything to foster the demise of the US, and providing a host for Parler is a darn effective way to go about it. LOTS of bang for their buck.
Why don't these "patriots" see that? If Russia stumbles over themselves in a rush to provide this venue, that should offer a clue as to whether it's harmful or helpful to the US.

They have rules.....no porn, no communication of threats ect.
Those rules just don't include appointing themselves the arbiters of truth so they can censor opinions they don't like.

I am not on Parler and likely never will be, but that is why we need to protect their right to exist. The Mainstream Media and BigTech have used double standards to try and build an echo chamber where people are brainwashed into thinking Parler is all about worshipping Trump and committing insurrection. No. From what I understand, unless it changed since yesterday, Parler now consists of a notice that they will be back, posted on a Russian server. You can’t actually access the site.
Free speech means you get to demean whoever you want, right?
You can do that now, and Congress will not interfere.
You will still have to deal with the pushback from whatever you say coming from people who are not acting on the part of Congress, however. “Free Speech” does not mean you can say whatever you want without consequences.
All rights including those in the Amendments come conjoined with responsibilities.
