I haven't seen Parler, but if the idea is that they will offer Trump a space to post anything he wants because of the site's total support of free speech, then they they will also allow anything posted to Trump, or about Trump, right? No matter how vile, no matter whether true or not. Just like he does.
Trump might be in for a bigly surprise.
I couldn't guess at what Parler will do. But Trump, from all indications, has always been able to handle the attacks on him before.
Why, are you advocating that people continue to attack him?

He doesn't care. He's all for freedom of speech unlike the opposition. Anyone well known on any social media will have those that oppose their views. That's just how it is. Even Biden will have those that don't like him. So what?!
The point is there needs to be a place to go where all people have the right to speak.

You have the right to write whatever you want. You never had the right to keep platforms from moderating what you write or from banning you. Hope this helps.
It’s not a double standard Einstein. Tiktok is not an American company.
Derka durr.
So you are upset Parler's free speech platform gets to survive in the US because a Russian company can make money off hosting them and you justify your position based SJW mumbo jumbo.
But you are cool with TikTok in the US being a platform as it helps the bigoted CCP as it runs concentration camps.
I do think it means you can demean whoever you want.
You just can't set up threads discussing details of taking over the government and killing the Vice President.
Which Parler was allowing, despite numerous directions to remove those discussions.
Parler did draw some lines, but very few. The problem was that even the lines it draw it had no capacity to enforce. Many months ago there were some complaints of mass bannings of non-conformist ideologies from a few members of the press who dipped a toe in, but really nobody cared because it was always just an echo chamber anyway. No idea if that was true. I spent a few minutes on Parlor maybe a year ago and it was pretty dead, difficult to navigate, and then pretty much useless as far as intelligent thought being mostly absent. No doubt it was there just as it is on Reddit. Just need to follow the right people or go to the right subs.... but most of it was banal.

It only helps leftists with mindless talking points that don't address the substance of this discussion.
Despite what the media tells you, Parler was never a free for all.
They have rules.....no porn, no communication of threats ect.
Those rules just don't include appointing themselves the arbiters of truth so they can censor opinions they don't like.
Criticism of Trump was always allowed.
Sorry to burst your bubble.
At least it sounds like a free-for-all in comparison with City Data, for example. My point was that Trump was slightly more hemmed in, or had more control of others' replies, on Twitter.
