I haven't seen Parler, but if the idea is that they will offer Trump a space to post anything he wants because of the site's total support of free speech, then they they will also allow anything posted to Trump, or about Trump, right? No matter how vile, no matter whether true or not. Just like he does.

And calling for the murder of police officers is allowed on twitter. Hashtags that call for harm against the President are common on that platform.

And yet attacking federal buildings, murdering police officers, and burning the American flag was okay with many Democrat officials. Kamala Harris even promoted a fund to bail out the rioters.

Not to mention that the modern Left is quite open in their disdain for the United States. They see us as an illegitimate entity, founded on slavery, racism and genocide and nothing more. Much of them hate our history (all of it) and find nothing to honor or cherish. Much of them hate the symbols, the statues of the founders, even our flag itself is seen as an object of contempt. So when they speak of "treason" it rings rather hollow, since they are speaking of "treason" against a nation they don't respect and even hate anyway.
